New improved Indiana Jones minifig imagesPosted by Huw, 24 Jan 2011 14:43Bluemoose has worked his magic on the IJ minifig images and they are now stunning: no more problems with white figs or overexposed heads! Now all that's left is for him to explain to me how to do it... 16 comments on this article By brickbuddy4252 in Canada, 24 Jan 2011 14:55that's great but the pictures were ok before so I don't think you need to go to all the trouble to do this for all the minfig galleries. By Berrybrick in United States, 24 Jan 2011 15:02I don't notice much of a difference except the faces of characters in white seem brighter, and their clothing hurts my eyes! It's fine though, I'll cope with it. By BrickManBrick in United States, 24 Jan 2011 15:04Nice Pics! By LukeSkywalker in Ireland, 24 Jan 2011 15:14Yeah the pictures look even more amazing now! :) The figures themselves are brill, but I don't know what they were thinking when they designed Short Round's face, it looks too cartoonish. By fff in Spain, 24 Jan 2011 15:22Should LEGO reward you for this work!? YES!! By Jarod98 in United States, 24 Jan 2011 15:32These are simply amazing. I don't actually notice much different, but the German Soldiers look much better. Lego should reward you guys, with what? Well of course jobs working for them. If they hire you guys, Lego would be your jobs (or part-time jobs) which would free up more time for you guys to work on Brickset, plus it would be a whole lot easier to get pics of the minifigs. By Zacherano in United States, 24 Jan 2011 16:18Awesome, thanks! By jgrahl in United States, 24 Jan 2011 16:40good job on all the minifig galleries. It looks very professional By ShatteredGnome in United States, 24 Jan 2011 17:34Great hi-res images! They look fantastic! Can't wait for you to get the Spider-Man pics running, Huw! By 1265 in United States, 24 Jan 2011 19:16Nice job! The figs look even better. Especially like the "Willie Scott - Sacrificial Outfit" fig. Looks hot!!!Boy, I'm a creep. : ) By Jarod98 in United States, 24 Jan 2011 19:37Since you guys took your own pics, why not re-name the figs with you own names. I have written up some ideas of how to re-name them for Indiana Jones, Prince of Persia, Batman, and I'm working on Harry Potter. I could email you the names I thought would fit like instead of using "Indiana Jones - Gray Suit" you could use "Indiana Jones (Grey Suit)" in a Word document.Hoping to make Brickset better,JarodUPDATE: Also why not give the figs there own custom numbering system. Like do it in alphabetical order like this:Change "pop013: Alamut Guard 1" to "PoP001: Alamut Guard 1"Change "pop012: Zolm - Hassassin Leader" to "PoP017: Zolm (Hassassin Leader)"UPDATE:I just finished a Pharaoh's Quest Minifig Gallery. By Huw in United Kingdom, 25 Jan 2011 02:23Jarod, we have no plans to break away from BrickLink's numbering and naming conventions, it would only confuse things for everyone and be yet another thing that would need to be maintained. By Jarod98 in United States, 25 Jan 2011 06:55@Huw - Okay, I wasn't really sure if it would happen, but I thought it was worth giving it a try to see if something would happen. lol, now that I look at it, it would've been an extemely hard stretch for you guys. I should make my own website :) By Be-Burger in Israel, 25 Jan 2011 10:45Nice work Bluemoose :) I appreciate people who can give the finished touch to pictures :P By minifig051 in United States, 25 Jan 2011 16:57Nice pictures, but one little thing bugs me. Why are the hands backwards? By Huw in United Kingdom, 25 Jan 2011 17:00^ Others have asked that. I think they look more natural with the curve at the top. Commenting has ended on this article.
