The next minifig gallery is...

Posted by ,

When I first added the Harry Potter minifig gallery a couple of weeks, Brickset member nori commented that he'd taken some photos of the Pharaoh's Quest minifigs, and has graciously allowed us to display them here.

So, check out the Pharaoh's Quest minifig gallery and show nori your appreciation.

If the flying mummy looks a bit squashed, press ctrl-F5 to fetch the latest version of the stylesheet.

Speaking of minifigs, I believe the method of identifying Series 3 minifigs with the "dots" on the bottom of the package is no longer valid. Originally, they seemed to work, but I recently purchased several at Target in the USA that appeared to be Hula Girls based on the dot placement but were in fact Elves.

Is anyone else seeing this?

Great work all around, look forward to seeing more galleries from other themes. If I had a decent camera and knew how you guys were taking these terrific photos I could tackle the Fantasy Era minifigs, as I believe I've got all the sets including the giant chess board.

It will be interesting to know how many different minifigs there are for Star Wars

Thanks Huw & Nori (for you time, effort & dedication)

^There were about 200 different figures (,not characters, figures) as of 2007.

These pictures are awesome. I think TLG should pay you guys for this service and have them send any new minifig to you for you to photograph and catalog. (of course you would get to each keep the minifig I would hope)

Why isn't there a link with the other themes?

Helena Skvalling? I thought she was Helena Tova? When did that change?

By in Australia,

These look great and are just as professional as Huw's minifig pics. Well done Nori!

We just need a link to the PQ Minifig Gallery under where it says "NEW MINIFIG GALLERIES" and has the pic of Indy on the right side of the homepage.

^ The link to all the galleries is at http://www.brickset.com/minifigs/browse/. The list on the front is just there while the feature is new and already it's getting too long which is why PQ hasn't been added to it.

By in Italy,

Seems nice! Why isn't it available in the minifigure gallery menu (on the home page)? Once this news article is off the homepage, how do we then access it?

Hey, Huw, The minifig gallaries are absolutely awesome.
a great one would be Alpha Team, so you could compare the colors and looks of the characters over the years

I thought that the quality of the pics could not be reproduced by others...but I'm glad to be wrong this time. This should open the door to others who want to help: this would speed up the process of refining the galleries. But, I hope the same quality of pics come out!

Good job, guys! HOORAAH!
