The Brothers Brick - Helping Japan

Posted by ,

The Brothers Brick is currently holding a LEGO charity auction, "to help out the people affected by the recent earthquakes and tsunamis in Japan." By now, most of us have probably all seen videos and/or pictures of the massive devastation and the continuing crisis in Japan. Per Dan from The Brothers Brick, they're "currently auctioning off MOCs donated by AFOLs all over the world, with 100% of the proceeds going to the Red Cross." You can see their current auctions here. Let's do our best to support them in this wonderful cause. Please also remember to keep Japan and her people in our thoughts and prayers during this terrible time.

Update: Click here for an update from Monday. There's also more info and a much better overview than I can provide at FBTB.

I've thought about donating, though I won't and will just donate at Christmastime for the Toys for Tots thing they always do.

Awesome idea! I'm surprised that guy donated his creation with over 3000 euros invested in it!

Wow, I can't believe people would give up their MOCs to help Japan, now that's what I would like to see more of. I wish I could donate, but I don't have any MOCs at the time (all were destroyed to build Lego Base). I'd like to buy something on here, but with an empty wallet I don't see how. But thanks to all those who donated I'm sure the people in Japan will appreciate what you've done. Another idea would be to colllect Lego sets and/or MOCs and give them to children in Japan.

@Brickmaster47 - Of course they are! ;)
