By in Switzerland,

I have seen the kingdom promo set (30062) at my local Target for weeks now. It is indeed pretty cool!

Is this promotion available only through this method? Or are there other ways to get it, like the Police Motorcycle?

So in other words, I feel like an idiot for getting around to finally buying the Fire Brigade... Last week.

As much as I really want that Kingdoms polybag set, Lego (US) is doing another, more tempting deal. My Summer 2011 Catalog arrived in the mail today, and it contains a coupon for 10% off one item at the Lego Store, valid June 27 through July 31. If I decide to go this week, I hope I can combine that with the coupon for a free Build a Minifigure pack on purchases $99+. So, if you can afford it, it may be better to get 10% off an expensive set than to get a $3.49 polybag set free. For me, I think the 10% off coupon is convincing me that it is finally time to buy a train...

@binary code LOL bad luck, that sucks.
If they added double VIP points I'd be sold, I'm waiting for one of those sales to buy the next modular house, maybe two.

The set kind of reminds me of Ninja Training Outpost.

Hey, Huw, even better news! In the US, LEGO is sending out 10% off coupons with the LEGO catalogs for any one set you buy in the LEGO Store. As I have one two minutes away from my house, that means I can finally afford the Earth Defense HQ!

Does the SW summer set usually come out at this PARTICULAR time FRAME of the Year?

Offical launch date of LEGO STAR WARS is usually August 1st. Is it Target Practice that you get for free? I have one already, and it's worth buying and getting multiples. Best promo set I've ever bought.

BTW, it's been avaliable at US Target stores for a long time, I've had mine for several months.

By in Canada,

Wow! That's one of the best promo sets I've seen in a while... and this is going to force me to spend big bucks on an exclusive just to attain it from the LEGO store.

Cool set, but I live in Canada, and I am not planning on getting any new sets.

I went into my local Lego store today with the $10 off coupon from the catalog as well as my MBA pick a brick box. I bought the Pet Shop, got 10% off as well as 3 free minifigs. The coupon wasn't scanning correctly, but the guys in the store just manually entered it. To top it all off, with careful stacking I was able to fit $97.96 worth of Lego elements in my pick a brick box.
Great shopping day!!

I doubt that the Star Wars sets will debut until after the sale. Lego tends to hold these to clear out inventory before introducing the new lines. I would guess either July 16 or 23 for the Star Wars sets.

Not sure if this warrants posting a new header, because I don't know if it's true of all Target stores in the United States. But Target in Massachusetts (Framingham/Natick to be exact), is selling the recent series of minifigs for $1.48. So... you can load up there!

@Gandalf1: I see what you mean.

Yes, i want to cry ... this one is by far better than the policeman :-(

By in United States,

@CrzyLCF: You can get the Kingdoms promo set at Target (at least here in the US) for about four dollars. On that note, it is a great little set a you get some nice pieces from it. Anyway, I'm just saying if you can find one in Target, you do not need to spend big bucks for it.

By in Canada,

Well who really cares if the knight is better than the policeman?! To get both you'd have to make a $75+ order... and on what? So far all I see are a bunch of sets in Sales and Deals for 20-25% off. Oh hurray, for me that's not even American retail. So while those of you in Europe cry it up over a normal minifig, I'll be waiting for when Lego drops the prices to 50%.

The knight is cool... but I own him anyway (from other sets). So why should an offer like this be the deciding factor of a $75+ purchase. If anything I'd wait for a good sale then let the Free Shipping become the deciding factor.

I can't help but notice its similarity to an older Lego System set... That was probably Lego's intention.

By in Canada,

Sorry, the promotion is in Canada, and I just might be getting the Medieval Market Village some time soon.

Happy Canada Day, everyone!

I bought the Tower Bridge today at the lego store and they are giving away the free set (Kingdom for me). In the small print in the catalog it does say July 1st for the give away in store. I did notice the person in front of me did not receive the free set so I asked and was given it.
