By in Australia,

AU $169.99... Only $45 more than the UK... That's some expensive shipping company Lego must be paying...

By in New Zealand,

Glad someone finds my comment useful...
UK always has good prices, and if you are not in Europe, LEGO will ALWAYS rip you off. Good set though, so worth getting ripped off for.

By in Australia,

I do not find this set appealing.

By in Switzerland,

Lego is just ridiculously expensive here in Switzerland.. If I hop over the boarder to germany I pay 25%-30% less. The conversion would be fair with the older euro rates though.
I expect the US to get a 99$ Price tag, so typical (would mean ~50% cheaper than here). I'm just living in the wrong country ;)

By in Belgium,

@ LEGOSLUG : guess you wanted to say "... if you are not in US, Lego will rip you off..." , though I know that for Lego fans in Austral-asia its worse, we in continental Europe too usually do pay a surplus of 30% up till almost double (for some licensed sets) compared to US prices..
But as everybody understands, this is due to the huge shipping costs.. a full 800km separates e.g. Belgium from Billund..

@ Superbrick: err, not really! Today's exchange rate 0.611 USD to £Sterling. Based on that rate the set works out at $130, which if it is true that it will be on sale in the US for $119 means it will be cheaper in the US!
Interestingly, and this is not uncommon, it is actually more expensive in Denmark, working out at just under £88 ($144 US).
@ Stacy: Yeah, that is bad, it works out at £107 sterling or about $170 USD!

Still, I have one in front of me and it is a seriously nice set!

By in Australia,

@Stacy, Considering the prices we usually are forced to pay for sets, I was figuring a price closer to $AUD200. Now we just have to pay the shockingly bad shipping chargers from Shop@Home.

By in Australia,

^ Actually, so was I Dood.

Slightly off-topic, I was looking at Shop@Home, and realised that they are asking, wait-for-it, AU$700 (~GBP$450), for the 10221 Super Star Destroyer. That's just dumb-founding. It's $400 in the US correct? I knew it was going to be expensive, but that's day-light robbery. Damn.

By in Italy,

Here in Continental Europe Eurozone, we're going to buy this set for over 144 US bucks (now, exactly about 144 $ 25). 119,99 dollars is the cheapest price for this set...
