---

I'll get the images uploaded here when I get home, but if you can't wait that long -- and have no hope of getting to one of the above stores -- you can downlaod the instructions from LEGO.com already (thanks to voyanuitoa for finding them!). It looks to be mostly made from common parts so you should be able to have a go at making it from parts in your collection.

By in United States,

It's very cool that this is being released in time for the grand opening of the first LEGO store in my state (Wauwatosa, WI). Can't wait to get one.

For those who've attended a grand opening before, do I need to be there before the store opens to have a chance of getting one of these? Or do they generally have enough to last a few hours?

By in United Kingdom,

I wonder when there will be a Lego store in my state. I live in Utah and the Lego stores I've been to are the downton Disney ones.

By in United Kingdom,

Neat! The only parts I can see people having trouble with would be the lego logo stickered tile, and maybe the transparent 1x1 flat round studs being a fairly new element.

Next up... Apple Store, Nike Store, Disney Store....

By in United Kingdom,

I NEED one! If anyone manages to pick up a spare, drop me a message and we can work out a trade. Ta! ;-)

By in United States,

Still none in Louisiana. :( I would happily work at a LEGO store :D

That mini model is cool! I can build it except I don't have a 2x2 tile with LEGO logo on it and yellow 2x2 jumper plates.

Vancouver, BC. :)

By in United Kingdom,

Bricklinked the parts I don't have - except the 2x2 lego tile, 2 available in slovenia though

By in United States,

@meyerc13, I showed up 3 hours early for the grand opening in Troy, Michigan. I showed up early because I wanted to show and explore the mall before waiting in line. NOPE! Didn't happen. There was already a line that had formed that was pretty long for 3 hours until opening. So I waited in line for three hours. I did get the free set, but I can't tell you how many were left over.

My recommendation, if you want the set, go 3 - 5 hours early.

By in United Kingdom,

^^ I guess the Slovenian stores must have had their grand openings already...

By in United States,

@dixondog, you guys have 4 Lego stores in Illinois already. I think you've hit your quota.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Awesome! I will be getting this when I go to the Opry Mills store on April 28.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Wow one in Seattle and one opening soon in Lynwood. (Plus the existing Bellevue one)
Idk, three stores in that close of an area seems a little ridiculous... Even two makes sense, but three?

Gravatar
By in United States,

The 2x2 tile is plain, with a sticker, isn't it?

Gravatar
By in United States,

@Huw - Yes, it's just a 2x2 white tile with a sticker per the instructions.

By in Sweden,

Why there are LEGO stores opening in Nowhere, USA but none in cities like Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Rome, Stockholm, Helsinki, Oslo, etc. is a mystery to me.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Shouldn't be a promo but a regular set! That would be awesome especially at minifig scale.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Would it kill them to let fans outside of those areas have a chance at getting these sets?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Does anyone know the site that shows you what stores have what PAB selections? I can't remember...

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I just built it. I substituted a printed 2x2 tile from one of the golden dice sets.
I also used the older panels, without the side supports.
I'd really like to get an official version though, since it's a nice little set.
Hopefully it'll make it over here to the UK eventually.

By in Canada,

cjg, I'm pretty sure the Seattle store listed here is Lynnwood, WA. Lynnwood is only 30 mins out of Seattle and the only talk I've heard of is Seattle only getting its 2nd store not 3rd.

By in Germany,

Hey Lego, make a real big modular building out of it, pleeeeeaaase!

Gravatar
By in United States,

@timt: Okay that would make more sense

Gravatar
By in United States,

@vpustote - thanks for the info. Looks like it will be an early morning for me. :-)

@Graysmith - While it may seem that these are nowhereville towns, in reality they are named for the suburbs of major metro areas where they are located. Wauwatosa WI, for example, is part of the Milwaukee metro area, the 28th largest city in the US.

I'm glad I'm not to far from Victor, NY! Hoping to get there at least one of those days...

By in United States,

By in United States,

LEGO, try this:

St. Louis, MO

or since I'm moving there,

Jacksonville, FL

I want this set. IT'S AWESOME LOOKING!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Two new Seattle area stores!!! SWEET, Bye bye 520 Bridge Trolls...erm tolls!

Gravatar
By in Sweden,

Meyer,

I do realize they're not truly Nowhere, USA, but it still doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me why LEGO are opening stores in the U.S. like they're Starbucks but show no interest in opening any in major European cities. Why would Massachusetts need FOUR stores when there are ZERO in France, Italy, Spain, Holland, Belgium, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Ireland, Austria, etc. combined?

I'm obviously pissed because I'm incredibly jealous, but also because it just doesn't make any logical sense.

Gravatar
By in United States,

checked the lego site only store going in washington is lynnwood at alderwood mall makes know sense they needed one south like tacoma or puyallup not up north

Gravatar
By in United States,

do u have pic of box? anybody?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Don't know why Seattle needs another store, but I guess there's plenty of demand. Glad to see them popping up in other places like Vancouver BC. Oh, and the model looks cool too.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Shouldn't be a promo but a regular set! That would be awesome especially at minifig scale.

By in United States,

FINALLY in Victor NY! :) i know it may seem as "Nowhere USA" but this is the first Lego Store in Upstate NY and the closest is at least 5+ hours away now! We have Toys R Us , Target, Walmart and those other stores that do an ok job of stocking the sets but I find myself ordering more from Lego.com, Ebay, and Amazon now but have wanted a store around here since i started collecting! :)

Another note to being Nowhere USA, Victor is just outside of Rochester NY and an hour from Buffalo (Bills) NY and Syracuse NY. We also have 7 colleges and 4 malls locally. Yes its not Paris but it is a very smart place for them to open a store! Can not wait to be there bright an early for the Saturday and Sunday promos! :)

Gravatar
By in United States,

@erbse2000 - That's a pretty good idea. They already have those perfect minifig-scale boxes that came with the Toys R Us truck last year.

Someone should Cuusoo it.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Finally! I knew Vancouver would have to get a store sooner or later!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Thanks meyerc13, the one I was thinking of was a different site, but this looks even better. :)

Gravatar
By in United States,

oops... i had major gramer errors on a earlier post and i meant that yes its a 2x2 plate with a sticker.

Gravatar
By in United States,

@bill.berardi
I'm also really excited about the Victor store since I live near Buffalo. In addition to the colleges and malls, how many cities can say a president was shot there?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Yeah, this would be really cool as a Minifig-scale retail set. I would pick it up in a heartbeat.

Gravatar
By in New Zealand,

Still no Official LEGO Stores in NZ... Or in the southern hemisphere at all. *sigh*
Also, for those of you saying that you would love to see this as a regular set at minifigure scale, there happens to be a Cuusoo project which features exactly that: http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/10367

By in Germany,

@Tradeylouish
Done!

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Hey Lego, how about just one store here in Oz? Surely that's not asking too much?
@Graysmith - I feel your pain (and your frustration for that matter!)

Gravatar
By in Australia,

No Lego stores in Australia, so I'm building it from my collection. Using a keyring tag (white 2x2 tile with round end/peg hole) for the Lego sign. also used as many different coloured 1 x 1 round plates for the back wall as I could find in my collection.

Gravatar
By in United States,

@bill.berardi & @Zackula
Ikr!! The only other LEGO stores in NY were in Long Island or like 6 hours away in NYC. Its about time we got one up here! And I wouldnt consider it a nowhere USA place..like you guys said we got Syracuse, Buffalo, Rochester, and some places in Pennsylvania and Canada wouldnt be TOO far from us. But anyway, im glad they decided to put one in upstate NY!

Gravatar
By in United States,

made it on design by me. looks cool i will get peices from my collection to make this set and also from PAB

Gravatar
By in United States,

Yes! Nashville! Will be buying.

Gravatar
By in United States,

^ I second that. My sister lives in Kansas City MO, closer than Overland Park KS.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Got word from the General Manager of North Point Mall in Alpharetta, GA that the store there will open on the first week of July.
