Star Wars Celebration Slave 1

Posted by ,

Slave 1Flickr user hawk2009 has posted some great pictures of the SWC Slave 1 in his flickr stream and has provided a picture of the instructions cover for the database.

Hopefully someone will scan the instructions so those of us not able to get to the event can build one for ourselves, although it looks easy enough to reverse engineer from the photos.

That's an interesting model.

Hmm, another mini model with minifigure seating like the Sith Infiltrator. Nice. I oddly like this trend.

By in Canada,

^^ Yes please if you have them...

WAY better than the Comi-Con Sith Infiltrator.

By in United Kingdom,

I am somewhat tempted to fork out for this, but unlike the Sith Infiltrator, I would be getting this for the model and not for the tin! Great pictures though.

@dixondog - I recognise the piece, but I cannot put my finger on where from. It has appeared before though, I am almost certain.

Awesome mini. Anyone care to share the instructions and part number for that windshield piece?

By in United Kingdom,

That windshield is from the ADU helicopter, you get two with the alien ship. i love the trend aswell hope to see more!

Ugh not another tough (expensive) to get Star Wars Mini model.

By in United States,

So if I had driven 2 hours with my dad to Orlando, I could have gotten free a LEGO set? Man! It looks pretty darned cool...

@ramon123 - You are absolutely right. The part # is 4613756 from the Alien Conquest Jet-Copter Encounter (item #7067). Good eye!

By in United Kingdom,

This is much nicer than that other Tinned set, Darth Mauls Sith Infiltrator. Now this I would spend an good £100 amount of money on! (Seriously!) Or Bricklink the parts to save money. But the tin I love!

Eh, I think they could've done better. I like the idea that used with Darth Maul and his Sith Infiltrator, but this has some very funky proportions with the wings and guns. Other than that, it's good.

So where was this originally sold?

Gravatar
By in United States,

@TooMuchLEGO, this wasn't free, it was $40, and @itsaturkey, it was an exclusive to Star Wars Celebration VI attendees last weekend (Aug 23-26th) in Orlando, FL. I was lucky enough to get one!

I'm torn though. Part of me wants to open it and build it and display it, but ALL of me wants to leave it in the tin and wrap it up. It looks SO nice, the tin is really beautifully designed!

Anyone actually know the difference between this Boba Fett version and the 2012 version? The lighting of the pictures is hard to tell if there is any color shading differences, otherwise they look like the same design =/ which s kind of lame for an exclusive set, I think.

By in United States,

There are only 1,000 of these. 250 sold per day, for four days. I'm pretty lucky to have one.

While undoubtedly cool, the selfish side of me wants to scream at LEGO for all these 'exclusives'. It is like handing over cash to those that can aquire them, as those of us (silly folk) that try to be completists must weight the cost of ownership...

Still, cool little sets. I hope they make them available to the masses...=)

By in Australia,

The dark green bricks are part number 87620 brick modified facet 2 x 2
The windscreen is part number 92474 windscreen 6 x 2 x 2 with handle
Both are available in good quantities on Bricklink.
I think the front part is 47759 Wedge 2 x 4 Triple.
Does anyone have any idea what the dark red parts on the back are?

AddictedToStyrene, I answered your question on fbtb.net earlier, we were apparently posting at the same time :-)
Can't tell in these pics but the other dark red wedge could be new if it's :

Wedge 4 x 4 Triple with Stud Notches
http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=48933

But it's probably just :

Wedge 4 x 2 Triple Right & Left
http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=43711
http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=43710

The one piece wedge hasn't appeared in dark red according to BL but the 2 separate pieces have several times

HTH!

Now we just need someone to scan the instructions.

If anyone wants to see the pieces that make up this set, you can watch ArtifexCreations building video on Youtube. Im sure it can be reverse engineered from that.

Thanks grahamm11. The video is excellent and I was able to identify all the pieces I was missing. I used Boba from the skiff set. I feel like making one for Jango now
