New Monster Fighters polybag

Monster Fighters promotional pack

LEGO likes to make the life of the completest polybag collector difficult, doesn't it...

This set was given away at FanExpo in Toronto last weekend. It contains 12 pieces: a skeleton, bat, jewel, crystal, web, and glow in the dark spider, plus a sticker sheet.

Thanks cybiko for the news and photo.

^^Doesn't look like it; the polybag was given out at a convention in Canada.

Ah, good, someone got a picture of this. I reported on this last Monday but I didn't keep the bag, and with no picture it's not much of a report. The web is White [not glowey as the picture seems to indicate] which makes it the same as the one in the Frankenstein set. The jewel is trans-red [very standard] and the crystal [rock] is trans-green like kryptonite, which makes it sorta rarish, I guess. The stickers are nice, though, because they're glow in the dark and quite thick and plasticky.

I got really excited when I saw a glow in the dark rat in the picture. Then I got really sad again when I realised it was only a sticker. Ah well.

I think according to the October US store calendar, there is a Monster Fighters activity and the reward is glow-in-the-dark stickers. I wonder if this polybag is the reward?

the stickers were also a give away at the lego kidsfest in austin last weekend. but it was just the stickers, not the rest of the stuff. also... the bag reads 12 pieces, but i only count 11. am i missing something? do the stickers count as a piece?

Wow, one of the old-school style skeletons.

^^ I noticed the old style skeleton too. I like them a lot better than the newer ones.

I wonder if this will be a hand-out for next month's LEGO Club Meeting?
