3 for 2 at Argos this weekend

Posted by ,

Argos has confirmed on their Facebook page that they will be running another 3-for-2 on toys promotion from tomorrow until Tuesday. If I were you I'd reserve now for collection tomorrow.

There are a few decent discounts at the moment, for example you can get Mines of Moria for just £33 each if you buy three of them, which is less than half price.

Also, it has been reported in the Brickish forum that Toys R Us will be running a 3-for-2 offer from next Wednesday, the 14th.

The question is, do you still have sets left to buy, and money to buy them with?! It's a shame the Hobbit sets are not out yet: I guess by the time they are in December, the shops won't be running any more promotions like this.

By in United Kingdom,

I suppose this is a good sign even if there is little left worthy of purchasing (for me at least) as they are evidently clearing stock for Christmas. Every year I hope for an earlier than usual Star Wars set release, but in vain. However the Hobbit sets will make the wait until about the 23rd of December much easier!

@thebearcollector - Well I would probably be camping for some time waiting for the new Star Wars sets, about a month and a half. Even worse would be the British Winter, very chilly!

By in Ireland,

Argos here in Ireland have the Droid escape set on 2 for €40 but apparently that doesn't go with the 3 for 2. When I went to pay for my reserved 3 sets the price was €49.98.
For a lot of other interesting sets no shops had more than 2 available. All in all the weekend was much cheaper than I had thought ;-)
