CMFs series 10 and 11 assembled using new Brickset feature

Posted by ,

LEGO Minifigures Series 10 - Bee WomanAs you have probably read elsewhere, the figures that'll be in collectable minifig series 10 and 11 came to light yesterday in the forum, and while I'm a bit late reporting the news, I'm glad to see that a new feature of Brickset was used to create the news.

Using our new parts browser, Aanchir found a number of new pieces that are not listed in any inventories at LEGO.com yet, and someone (sorry, not sure who) has put together the parts images in Photoshop or similar and created pictures of many of them, such as this 'bee woman'. You can see them all in a gallery on flickr.

The full lists, which I think originated from the team at The Daily Brick, are as follows:

Series 10 (71001, summer 2013)

  • Sea Captain
  • Sad Clown
  • Librarian
  • Grandpa
  • Bumblebee Girl
  • Roman Commander
  • Warrior Woman
  • Decorator
  • Tomahawk Warrior
  • Trendsetter
  • Baseball Fielder
  • Revolution Soldier
  • Motorcycle Mechanic
  • Medusa
  • Skydiver
  • Paintball Player

Series 11 (71002, autumn 2013)

  • Yeti
  • Evil Mech
  • Welder
  • Lady Robot
  • Jazz Musician
  • Constable
  • Holiday Elf
  • Bavarian Lady
  • Scarecrow
  • Mountain Climber
  • Grandma
  • Tiki Warrior

By in United Kingdom,

I'm most likely gonna get the Tomahawk Warrior and the Roman Commander. I'll also include the rest, just for the sake fun in collecting.

By in United Kingdom,

Just wgen you thought they had done them all. I thought it would have ended at series 10 but am looking forward to them.

By in Czech Republic,

This upcoming figures are looking more than promising! I hope constable means the classical British policeman bobby!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

These lists sound very promising. Looks like instead of stopping at series 10, I'll have to be more picky in which fit in to my building plan. Plenty of multiples to buy too, erkk!

By in Canada,

Holy crap these are some of the best yet! I need that Medusa, for some reason, and that Old Man is brilliant!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Why did it have to go past series 10? Don't get me wrong these new series look excellent and very original but I am kind of running out of space and cash here.

By in United States,

I've been waiting for a Medusa for so long! Also really want Warrior Woman and Roman Commander.

By in Bolivia,

Libel! When I assembled the pierrot, I used Gimp not photoshop.

Series 11 figs were not assembled yet (not even sure if their parts are in the database).

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

^ So it was you! Thanks :-) I did add 'or similar'...

Gravatar
By in Bolivia,

I assembled the first image that appeared, but I think that the newer images of the pierrot were assembled differently because I think the work is of better quality.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Ahhh Pierrot the clown. So much want.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

SO many that i want!! think i'm defo going to have to sort out some sort of enclosed shelf / Frame for all these minifigures!! i've so run ouf of shelf space and they are a little high on the need for dustng!

By in United States,

Now, take a moment to think back on all the cries of "RUINED FORVERVER!!!! Why did they have to go this far?!?" when the first list of names of revealed.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Medusa, medusa, medusa, how long I have waited !! Would look amazing with a Ninjago snake body though.....better get myself one pronto.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Looks cool. I will probably try to get the Roman Officer.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Wow, some of those sound and look great

Gravatar
By in United States,

Im surprised that two of the figures are so close to characters in the Lego City Undercover Wii-U game trailers... the "motorcycle mechanic"/punk is VERY close to Rex Fury, and the Sea Captain is spot on. Note also there's a clown gang, and there's several CMF variants in the game so it might just be they're CMFs. Now that the lists are out from a reputable site I'm excited. As for people wanting to be cut off after series 10.... don't buy them? I'll take another dozen CMF series any day!

By in United Kingdom,

Fantastic figures by the sounds.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Here's hoping the Barbarian is similiar in appearance to Conan the Barbarian

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Gingerbread Legoman FTW.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Well, it continues to go on past series 10. Once again the CMF doomsday forseers are wrong. Unfortunately, they will be correct some day but I am glad to see this series continue. There are still so many possibilities.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm surprised we're getting images and lists so early this time! Some of these look pretty awesome, cant wait!

Gravatar
By in Australia,

I like Medusa... but why is there a Lego Paris Hilton? The rest of them look great. I love how the sea captain comes with a little seagull (imagine your Lego harbour now has flocks of seagulls, that's fantastic).

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Just to be clear, these are not official images, they are composites made by combining part images found on lego's server. Some will be complete and accurate but probably not all of them.

Gravatar
By in Denmark,

I heard somewhere around the time when the first series came out, that they had planned 16 series.
However, if they keep making money on the CMF my guess is that they will continue.
And why not?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

For all the ones that have images, I'm very excited. Librarian, Hawk Soldier Girl, Paintballer and Sea Captian are my favourites. I believe that the list for Series 10 is true, as the source of the images basically confirms it. Really looking forward to those.

However, I'm a bit sceptical about that list for series 11. I would have thought 10 a sensible place to stop, and that list just doesn't sound right. Don't quote me though! I suppose I'm just not hugely excited by that list.

However, as long as TLG produce figures I want, I'll keep buying. I don't buy full series, just a select few, so space isn't a huge issue for me.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Heh, the image maker guy just took some of my photos and edited them :/

Gravatar
By in United States,

They sound great but why a female robot

Gravatar
By in Ukraine,

Hahaha, "The right time to end the Series" will be whenever they stop producing such amazing profits for TLG!

And if that means that they go up to Series 1000, and just create teammates and opponents and girlfriends, and update old ideas forever and ever, then so be it! Remember, every four years there is a whole new crop of 8-12 year-olds out there, plus a whole new crop of young adults who need to be brought out of their Dark Ages with a fun little impulse purchase. And that's why they have produced so many sets over the decades that they have to go completely into quintuple-digit set-numbers for everything now... And who would complain about that? Seriously, who in the world would try to buy them all?!?!

No one is FORCING you to buy them all, so just get your handful of favorites that fit best into your LEGO world...

...and be happy! =)

By in Australia,

Paintball dude is the only one from S10 I'd like. On the other hand - S11 sounds great to me.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Why are there 16.5 minifigures in the series?

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Too bad that Germany always seems to be reduced to "Bavaria" in the eyes of other countries. "Bavarian Lady"? No thanks, I will pass. I feel closer to the Yeti.

Gravatar
By in Denmark,

Nice work!

Gravatar
By in Ireland,

^^^ and Ireland to Leprechauns. ;)

Gravatar
By in United States,

Hey, it's the Bee Girl from the music video "No Rain" by Blind Melon.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Series 10 looks great but 11 looks meh, I'll save some money on 11...

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

The Roman Centurion was pretty much a dead-cert, given that the hole in the top of the legionary helmet was obviously designed to take a crest of some sort. It was only a matter of when... Definitely need this guy to go with the Legionaries and the Caesar that's due in S9.

I'm also hoping that Constable in S11 will indeed be a British police officer, complete with the traditional "custodian" helmet, and preferably in the formal jacket and tie uniform. The Holiday Elf sounds like an "elf" in the sense of one that should go with the current Santa (presumably with short legs), rather than the Elf bowman from S3 wearing a Hawaiian shirt...?! :o) The Sea Captain just looks awesome.

i know we haven't had Series 9 yet, but roll on Series 10...!
