US S@H prices now available!

Posted by ,

North Americans, your wait is over! I have the US feed and you can now see US prices, direct product links and the 'Buy' page shows what's available from S@H.

The country detection code should send you off to the right page but in case it doesn't, you can switch to the US page from the UK one and vice-versa. When you have done that once, it will remember your preference.

I plan to add plenty more features in the coming weeks: Sets available only in the US, only in the UK, new sets at S@H, maybe even a chart showing the sets with the best and worse $/£ ratios (but LEGO might not like that!)

If you like what I'm doing, encourage me to do more by buying your sets from my links!

Update: I think the complexity of the queries to support this functionalty is causing some pages to timeout. If you experience such problems, please persevere or try again later. I'll have to work on optimising them in the next few days.

P.S: I think the Ratio idea is pretty cool, it would be interesting to see.

By in Denmark,

By USD / UKP ratio... I hope you mean "price per brick"? That would give you an idea of value for the money.

And how about adding more countries and currencies? I live in Denmark and can't really use UK nor US for anything other than seeing how much cheaper everything is in USA.

By in Canada,

I'd love to add more countries but unfortunately the link network I am using is only contracted by LEGO UK and LEGO USA so data for the rest of the world is unavailable to me.

Sweet! I buy in USA money, but want to pay cheaper by using my friends down in Europe. Or is that a pounds sign...

Ratios are so on!

I'm on the ON side of Legos. Are you?

By in United States,

Support local Lego store or support web site I frequently use.... oi!

Actually I can use you guys for the sets that I only find at Target/Toys-R-Us and not at the Lego store. Not sure how that happens but my problems may be solved.

By in United States,

By in Canada,

I buy in Canadian dollars, but this is still a nice update.

With the canadian and US dollar at parody for a month now, lego cant keep justifying the 25% price difference between Cad and Us prices on sets. maybey if people like me keep barking at them they will change it within a couple months.

By in United Kingdom,

Now you can really see the difference between USA and Rip off Britain - just remember currently 1 GBP = 2 USD.

By in Australia,

"canadian and US dollar at parody."

Meanwhile the Australian dollar is approaching *parity*. How Canadians and Americans make fun of their currency is up to you.

By in United Kingdom,

@David1985, um, it'd be more expensive to buy Lego in the States, as I'd have to flog 500 quid for a flight to, say, NYC, just to buy cheaper Lego...

Hm?
