The minifigure history and Lego play book look promising! (and hopefully drop to about £5. £25... sheesh!)

By in Sweden,

Funny how the cover for the Minifigures book has question marks on it and then in the caption it reveals that the exclusive minifigure will be the Toy Soldier we speculated it'd be when those Series 10 parts leaked. Nice to have it confirmed though!

^good spot. LEGO® Minifigures Character Encyclopedia:

"Meet all the collectible minifigure characters, including the Clockwork Robot, the Evil Knight and Gorilla Suit Guy.
Packed with biographies, accessory information, fun LEGO® facts and an exclusive toy soldier minifigure."

Why why why LEGO did you never make a Brickmaster set for Kingdoms, yet just about every other theme....
The CMF book looks neat, Series 1-11 and GB? So does the LEGO play book …

By in Canada,

Looks like I'll be working overtime catching up with the past Brickmaster titles I'm interested in before May, and then getting a Legends of Chima one, the Mini-Figure book does indeed look promising.

Knowing Costco I'll probably find them at half-off the cover price in Canada around release dates or next Christmas.

I hope the new Star Wars one will be just as filled with great build ideas as the old one, and I certainly hope we don't just get Crawley and Leonidas or Lennox in that Legends of Chima one. Of course if I looked at the close up of the cover I'd know which figures are in, silly me... Er anyway, LEGO's teaming up with DK was the second smartest thing they ever did, everybody loves a good LEGO book. Still need to snatch up the Idea Book, perhaps early spring. The first thing LEGO did that was the smartest team up was joining forces with Traveller's Tales. ;)

EDIT: Oh cool, you get three Mini-Figures with that new book to replace Standing Small. Three... That sounds like awesome potential, I certainly hope LEGO goes for the re-imagined Classics look or something, I'd love to have a Classic Space Era Blacktron in my collection.

By in Norway,

I am afraid about only one thing - the more different books/products the less quality could be expected. But hopefully this will not going to be the case.

@ The_Creator: I have a Lego Brickmaster Castle themed one. I am not sure if it is technically Kingdoms or not, but it is a Castle Brickmaster book.

Are the iPad apps something new? I don't think I've heard anything about those before...

Minifigure book looks interesting. It says it comes with 3 figs, but will they be exclusive? If they're classic figs been reproduced that would be cool, but even better if they were updated classic figs (like, I don't know, Forestmen done to today's standard?).

Rest look okay.

By in United Kingdom,

Of these I will probably pick up the new Star Wars Brickmaster, the Lego Play Book, as I really enjoyed the Ideas Book, and the Minifigure Year by Year book as well if I can.

Nothing I am really interested in. Between needing the new Arkham + Daily Bugle, and trying to catch up to the modulars, it's nice to see something I am not dying to get. Speaking of which, other than Star Wars, have there been any other Brickmasters for licensed properties? I would be interested in getting a Super Hero one...

@Shawneboy,
Ya, there was one for Castle. A few of my local stores still carry it, I would have bought it if it would have had a Orc rather than a skeleton.
@Icy,
Glad to know I'm not the olny one. Too bad there's pretty much zero chance of every getting one now…

Curious why under the CMF book it says" New October" and in the description the release is May…?

By in Australia,

Interesting, it looks like the year by year minifig book excludes licensed figs (judging by the cover anyway). I guess that's so they can sell them individually like they have with Star Wars and Harry Potter as well as making this book smaller and more affordable.

Are people sure that the year by year book comes with three figs? I couldn't see anything written on it*. I see the three unknown figs but they might be figs that are 2013 releases so Lego didn't want images of them out this early.

*I reserve the right to be wrong because I only had a boy's look.

I know that I'm totally gonna grab the Chima Brickmaster book as soon as I see it.

By in United Kingdom,

@Hewman: there was another picture of three of the books (that one and two more), and there were descriptions underneath. In the description it said there are "three minifigures to add to your collection".

By in United Kingdom,

I believe it will cover *all* minifigs and will come with three.
