Free Creator parrot when you buy LEGO at a store in GermanyPosted by Huw, 23 Feb 2010 16:22Parrot30021-1 Creator 2010 ©2010 LEGO GroupAt least, I think that's the offer at this German store's website. If you can provide a translation, please do! This is the first sighting of this parrot set out in the wild :-) 13 comments on this article By I like Lego in Canada, 23 Feb 2010 16:44Wow! EDIT: Try using Google Translator to translate the words Huw. By Huw in United Kingdom, 23 Feb 2010 16:55It's an image, it won't work :-( By Okay in United States, 23 Feb 2010 16:56Actually, it's a loyalty card type of thing where you collect "loyalty hearts" to get discounts. With every ten loyalty hearts, you can save up to 9 C on one of the pictured sets, and when your loyalty card is full, you get the parrot for free. How many hearts it takes to fill your card, or how exactly you obtain those hearts, it doesn't say. By vynsane in United States, 23 Feb 2010 16:59I checked out Google Translate and it seems to be a discount program like the LEGO VIP cards:The new Loyalty Program!Collect loyalty heart brings fun for young and old LEGO sets and up to 50% discount!Only for a short time! The first one free of a full collector's card will receive a Lego Creator parrot gift! Only while stocks last! That's what I got out of Google Translate... and it seems Okay beat me to it ;) By legofanatic2414 in United States, 23 Feb 2010 18:12Darn! no America? SIGH. Hey Huw, what do you mean by " out of the wild " ? By asteciuc in United States, 23 Feb 2010 18:42Being someone who can actually speak German fluently I can confirm what Vynsane got out of Google Translate. To be technical its not so much a 'loyalty program' as it is just a sales promotion. Also, for the parrot it reads that the 'the first redeemer to have a full collector's card will receive a Lego Creator parrot gift,' but its really more like 'the first one to redeem a full collectors card will receive a Lego Creator parrot gift.'Hope that clears that up a little bit. By vynsane in United States, 23 Feb 2010 18:57@asteciuc: thanks for the more accurate translation. as for 'loyalty programs' - aren't they all sales promotions? that's all the LEGO VIP program is, after all. ;) By asteciuc in United States, 23 Feb 2010 19:24Yeah but I'm a stickler for the translations. By return2nz in Germany, 24 Feb 2010 07:46Kaisers is a german chain of supermarkets. Now every time you shop for an amount of x euro (I guess its 5 euro) you get one heart sticker. For every 10 hearts you get a discounted Lego product and for the full card you get the parrot for free.As I usually don't shop there I have no idea how many hearts you need for a full card.Hope that helps to understand :-) By Huw in United Kingdom, 24 Feb 2010 07:48@everyone, thanks for the translations and clarification! By Backflip720 in Germany, 25 Feb 2010 03:26For every 5 Euro you get 1 heart sticker! When you get 10 stickers you get the Legoset, but only the first people ! By legofanatic in Hungary, 25 Feb 2010 03:43If you use the Google translator it will translate any website. By Loganwan in United States, 26 Feb 2010 10:27Doh! That parrot looks great. Hopefully we will get it here in the US too. We have VIP cards too, so I guess we will get some bonus at some point. Commenting has ended on this article.
