Brickset was 'down' earlier

Posted by ,

Brickset.com was unreachable from about 17:45 to 19:06 GMT today due to some sort of network or nameserver issue. Other sites like BrickLink, hosted at the same site, were also affected.

I apologise for the inconvenience. Hopefully it won't happen again.

Glad it wasn't Ebay, I was bidding on 7748-1 Ultimate Batmobile. Which I got for less than I expected. Yay!

Strange the way bricklink outages always seem to coincide with me attempting to checkout a large order. And when it finally recovers, my shopping basket, which I had carefully filled with 50 items, has mysteriously emptied itself.

Eric at BrickLink suspects some sort of connectivity issue.

I think BrickLink is in a need of a massive overhaul anyways. Its so outdated and un-user friendly

I can't get to rebrickable because "the server is not available". Is that the same problem?
