By teammagnuson in United States, 26 Mar 2013 11:51It says they are available for in-store pick-up as soon as April 2. Isn't the releases date for Lone Ranger April 1? By Huw in United Kingdom, 26 Mar 2013 11:55I didn't recognise 4/02 as a date, but yes, you are right. False alarm! By Brickarmor in United States, 26 Mar 2013 12:07Lego CS wouldn't give me a date, but my nearest store said they will have them 4/15. By Marcus70 in United States, 26 Mar 2013 13:19Great to see them in the stores next week. :) By VadimD in Belgium, 26 Mar 2013 14:55Those listed prices are quite low in my eyes. I'm in contact with a European toy retailer and they are expecting to ask a lot more. Example: starting retail price for the stagecoach could be over 50€. Those might come down to adjust for market competition, but still. If these price differences appear to hold true, I might consider buying them through a US web shop myself. Even with shipping internationally, it might be cheaper. Anyone else notice large price differences between Europe and the US. By zipsforbananas in United Kingdom, 26 Mar 2013 14:56^^^Quite right too Huw, I've always thought the US custom of going month/day/year is very odd, and of it's just 4, not 04 it's even worse! I'm also aggrieved whenever I see a misplaced apostrophe, aren't I an interesting fellow! ;) By Redbullgivesuwind in United Kingdom, 26 Mar 2013 15:54^I feel the same when someone misuses commas and exclamation marks. By CapnRex101 in United Kingdom, 26 Mar 2013 16:00^^ I'm actually a member of the S.A.S. That being the Syntax and Apostrophe Service. By HokieJoe99 in United States, 26 Mar 2013 16:12Why do you think European prices are higher? It's because you guys use two digit month when one digit would suffice. It's just not efficient. Back on topic. I don't understand why LEGO releases these new sets a week or two after a major Holiday. I would probably have the entire lineup of TLR sets for Easter since I would have an excuse with the wife to get them if they were released now. As it stands I might be able (allowed) to get one or two of the smaller sets. LEGO is also missing the increased foot traffic in the stores looking to buy candy and presents for Easter. The same thing happens with new sets around Christmas. Sure you can find them in a few places, but imagine how many of the brand new sets would sell if they would have a wider release in early December. By klatu003 in United States, 26 Mar 2013 16:33So when Europeans say dates, do they always say the day first "2nd April?" In the US, we usually say the month first. For Easter, Walmart has polybags at $3.47 & $3.97 as Easter Basket fillers. 30213 Gandalf at Dol Guldur was available! By CapnRex101 in United Kingdom, 26 Mar 2013 16:48@klatu003 - It varies, we often say the second of April, but April the second is equally acceptable. By recon in United States, 26 Mar 2013 16:56Thanks! I just ordered the sets that I can afford right now! :-) We don't really add in a 'the' in the States. April 2nd, just how it is written out, is also how it's typically spoken. By Missing Brick in United Kingdom, 26 Mar 2013 17:33If only those US prices translated directly into GBP at the current $1.5/£ exchange rate. The stagecoach would be £24 incl VAT. That would be an instant purchase for me. But somehow I don't see that happening. I'm expecting it to be more like £35-£40. So I'll be waiting for a sale ( or a trip to the US ). By psychopuppet in United States, 26 Mar 2013 18:06I went ahead and ordered all 6. Probably could get them cheaper later ,but really I am fine with the prices. Plus one less thing to worry about looking for. These are all listed as in-stock for shipping says at normal shipping I should have them Monday according to the email. Rush shipping said Thursday March 28th. Now just need the Man of Steel sets and series 10 mini-figures . By Brickarmor in United States, 26 Mar 2013 18:57I ordered under the impression I could pick them up in store on 02April2013. Now my order confirmation says 08April2013. If anyone chooses ship-to-home and gets a date sooner than that AND gets a shipping confirmation please let me know. By Mr.Malfoy in United States, 26 Mar 2013 19:58Thanks for the tip-off! I'm definitely going to get Comanche Camp and Stagecoach Escape. By psychopuppet in United States, 27 Mar 2013 07:42My order went to all shipped this morning . Hopefully it's coming from the closer distribution center. Should know tonight. By Marcus70 in United States, 27 Mar 2013 12:20All six Lone Ranger sets are now OOS. By bekindsorewind in United States, 27 Mar 2013 21:08The Cavalry Builder set, Stagecoach and Colby City are now back in stock. I should be expecting the Train Chase for Saturday, in time for Easter :)EDIT: Silver mine Shootout is now back in stock too. By just2good in United States, 28 Mar 2013 16:35Got one of my orders! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXjzelZSK8I By Marcus70 in United States, 28 Mar 2013 18:28@just2good - Thanks for the video review! By just2good in United States, 28 Mar 2013 20:35^Thanks for the thanks! :) By Classicsmiley in United States, 29 Mar 2013 09:10Hmm. All traces of the sets seem to have been removed from the Walmart site... By Marcus70 in United States, 29 Mar 2013 10:59They are still there, on my reminder list (to track for future price drops) each now just temporary labeled as unavailable, you just can't search for them anymore with the link above. By psychopuppet in United States, 29 Mar 2013 12:40Got my order today from Walmart. Thinking about putting the the Constitution Train Chase together tonight. Surprised they shipped all six in the same box. It was packed about the same as S@H orders are . Which surprised me as usually Walmart packing leaves something to be desired. Box art looks nice all together. Now I guess I need to keep a eye out for the poly bags. Commenting has ended on this article.
