Posted by ,

Amazon.fr has listed the series 11 minifigs and provides a description of them which, roughly translated, is:

"With 16 new figures in Series 11 Special, the LEGO collection continues to grow. Each figure is packed in a bag 'mystery' and accompanied by special accessories, a base and ask for a booklet. Inspired by movies, sports, history or everyday life, this collection includes: a scientist, a female robot, evil, a jazz man, an elf, a policeman, a Bavarian woman, a waitress, a scarecrow, a barbarian, a welder, a mountaineer, a grandmother, a warrior tiki man and gingerbread."

(Thanks Damien for the news).

By in Poland,

Great to see the well known list is confirmed.
But wait a minute.... There is no Yeti but there is a Moutnaineer. And what the heck is "evil"? And why there is only 15 of them?
I hope Tiki warrior will have brown King Kahuka mask.

By in France,

The 'evil' is an evil robot - un robot maléfique. Yes, only 15 listed. hmmm...

Edit: looked up the Daily Brick list to doublecheck; Yeti is the missing 16th, robot maléfique is more like evil mech.

By in United Kingdom,

How many of those seem to have been done before? A Scientist, an Elf, a Policeman, a Barbarian and if 'Evil' means Evil Mech then that too. A further three Minifigures are simply female versions of previous releases. The names do not inspire me with much confidence, but I await images...

The amazon list seems to be missing the previously mentioned yeti. Some hopeful figs there. I wonder it the Bavarian lady will have princess Leia buns, or similar.

By in Germany,

I hope the policeman will be a British bobby.

A welder mask would also be nice.

By in Netherlands,

Ooooh common!
Series 10 is not even out yet in The Netherlands, and I am still missing one minifig from series 9 (the waiter with a really nice wine bottle with print on it, admittedly I care more for the wine bottle then the minifig, but still I got to have him too to complete my collection), I just could not find him, so annoyed that there are only one or two of some fig's in an entire box.

I am very curious about the elf, you can never have enough minifig elfs, trolls, goblins, and orcs and so on!

Also looking forward to the barbarian, gingerbread-man, bavarian girl, grandma, and tiki.

And absolutely wanting the jazz-man (hope he has a cool preferably gold chrome saxophone, wouldn't mind getting a Miles Davies trompet jazzminifig in the future either, and a Slash gitar minifig with big curly hair and high hat headpiece, and a Jimmi Hendrix type of gitar minifig too. And punks, and rastafarian minifigs! David Bowie also lends himself well to base a whole bunch of minifig's on with all his various extravagant alter-ego's.

By in France,

I can already hear the collective groan of the LotR fans, but I think the 'elf' is more like Santa's helper than Legolas.

Gravatar
By in Sweden,

I think the elf in this series is supposed to be a Santa's helper kind of elf, not a fantasy elf.

By in United States,

Interesting...
I'm sure the Scarecrow is probably going to be more like Wizard of Oz than Batman (I want an easy way to get a Batman Scarecrow without having to order one).
Tiki Warrior, Female Robot, and Grandmother all sound cool. I'm sure the Grandmother figure pairs with Little Red from whatever Minifig series that was.

@CapnRex101

There hasn't been a barbarian in the CMF line before although there have been Vikings (m & f) and a highlander.

I suspect the S11 scientist will represent a real scientist, not the mad scientist trope from the horror genre. I'm guessing the S11 scientist will be female.

You didn't mention it, but the yeti has been done by TLG before albeit not in the CMF line.

@Kalhiki

The grandmother also pairs with the S10 grandfather.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Looks like a horrible line up, YEAH! :D CMF is making me broke. . . :P

By in United Kingdom,

@Zander - Good point, I was thinking of the Highland Battler from Series 6 as a Barbarian, but they could be quite different I suppose. For the scientist I am imagining a female physicist or something like that, perhaps with a test tube, or equally pleasingly, another conical flask with a different coloured liquid in it.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I thought that said evil jazz man at first... That would be kind of funny to see.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

A granny would be useful. I was thinking the other day that there's not many variations of older women that you can make, as you are quite limited with female hair pieces in grey.
Scarecrow and jazzman could be good, but the others I need pictures for.

Gravatar
By in Europe,

If the jazz man has a saxaphone= Simpsons hint? Grandpa from series 10 now this!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

The jazzman is the most exciting so far.

By in United States,

By in United Kingdom,

please dont shoot me.

i know this thread is for series 11, which btw i cant ait for. but how come it gone eerily silent on series 10? in the past prior to a launch the message boards go mad with speculation, sightings etc.

but this time zip?

anyone got any news on 10? sightings etc? i wouldve expected more fervour seeing as how we have mr gold to chase this time.

im assuming mr gold is a one off for the tenth anniversary series, seeing as no mention for 11?

Gravatar
By in United States,

It's supposed to be a Holiday/Christmas elf, right?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

No Studski and Clutch, I'm gutted!

Gravatar
By in United States,

The scarecrow, yeti, waitress and tiki man sound good. I wonder if there will be a new Mr. Gold type figure? Also, I agree with nameloc, has anyone spotted series 10 yet? I have heard nothing.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

@nameloc and alexfig8 - The reason no more sightings have been reported other than the ones in Hungary a few weeks ago is because no more sightings have been made. We still await release to the rest of the world (I believe it is supposed to be a May release).

By in United States,

Since this was being asked, Series 10 has been sighted a Fred Meyer stores in the Portland, OR metro area starting today.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I wonder if the welder is an old school welder wearing goggles and the thick tan flame retardant clothes :)

Gravatar
By in United States,

I don't want to see an evil mech, I want to see Evil personified in minifigure form.

Gravatar
By in United States,

^To judge from the other thread, that would be Mr. Gold.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

sounds great!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

And don't forget to buy the new DK Lego Minifigure Characters Encyclopedia in May, with the Wind Up Toy Soldier Minifigure! :)

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Disappointed at the lack of mythology in s11 - after the Minotaur, Cyclops and Medusa I was getting excited anticipating what could be next! Fingers crossed for a satyr in s12!!

(Though I suppose the yeti took the creature spot this time round)

Gravatar
By in Germany,

^ We get a Barbarian!! Oh if it only looks a little like Conan, I will be happy! Uahahaha (obligatory Arnie laugh)

Gravatar
By in Costa Rica,

I guess the scientist will be a Einstein minifigure. They always use generic names like "Grandma visitor" and it's no labeled as female scientist as in the case of Lady Robot

And for a mythological creature I want so badly a Centaur
