5LEGO has reached out to us to let you know that their shopping system will be undergoing maintenance tomorrow and there will be a few issues they'd like you to be aware of:

Brick & Mortar LEGO Stores (between 05:00 – 15:00 GMT / 00:00 – 10:00 EST)

  • No VIP point redemption
  • No VIP sign-ups
  • No VIP points earning displayed on receipt
  • No VIP point balance available

Online LEGO Shop (Between 05:00 – 15:00 GMT / 00:00 – 10:00 EST)

  • Promotions will not show online
  • No VIP sign up or redemptions
  • No VIP points simulation in the check-out basket
  • No VIP account status online and registration

Web/phone ordering (Between 09:00 – 13:00 GMT / 04:00 – 08:00 EST)

  • No Web or Phone orders can be placed – LEGO Shop website offline.

I hope they fix how it is always changing the country on me. It seems to like to change back to USA for some reason, and with that, it shows the USA Prices. I don't notice it sometimes, and get too excited until I realize that it isn't in CDN$ anymore...

As a former LEGO retail employee, it's just as annoying when the VIP system goes down in brick-and-mortar stores. Especially if someone wants to sign up. And they HAVE to ask everyone if they want to sign up.

Norwegiagirl - The procedure for that in our store is to explain the VIP scheme and then offer a booklet rather than a straight sign up.
