What do you think of them? Personally I'm loving the 'British Bobby' and the Granny with a cat!

By in United States,

As a saxophonist, I can definitely tell which one I am getting first!

Gravatar
By in Norway,

Sweet. Most of them look very good. The gingerman was cute, the little green man too. Another must-have series!

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Great series. The waitress however I think is gross with all of that yellow.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Wow! Plenty of must haves there!

Gotta get two No. 12s, because that's definitely not The Blues Brothers... Nope, definitely not... ;)

A couple of those Elves will make their way to my place too- If LEGO won't give us official Zelda sets, that hat will be able to make up for it!

It's about time there was a LEGO Bobby! I've thought for a while now that they should do a 'British-themed' run of City sets... So maybe that'll happen one day!

I love the re-use of Tonto's crow for the scarecrow!

I get the feeling that German girl's pretzel will be replaced by two transparent mugs in the hands of a lot of people...!

And definitely gotta have that Yeti and Evil Mech...!

All in all this looks like a fantastic series! Can't wait!!

Gravatar
By in Hong Kong,

The abdominal Snowman is the perfect blend of monster-and-cute, the ice-pop is a nice touch!

I was hoping for some "Welsh" representation, seeing as we already have a Leprechaun from Ireland, Beefeater from England and a Bag-Piper from Scotland already.

Gravatar
By in United States,

For the most part, this looks like another good series. Not digging the elf's face print too much, though.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Love these!

Gravatar
By in United States,

These all look like they should be easy to feel for, especially the elf with the 2x2 brick and tile which is good because he and the Gingerbread Man will probably be very popular around Christmas time.

I'm really liking the scarecrow, yeti, and German girl.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Some great figures in series 11.

The British "Bobby" is a nice touch.
Granny and her cat must be paired with Grandpa from series 10.
The Mountaineer and Welder are also great. :)

The real question is, why does Poland get them first?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

This is looking to be an amazing series :) Can't wait!

Gravatar
By in United States,

So much stuff to love here! I don't know the official names for all of the figs, but 1, Evil Robot, Gingerbread man, Yeti, 9, 10, and Female Scientist look especially good. Can't wait for them to come out in the US!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Sooo.... another gladiator, robot, mech suit guy, and aztec... Looks like a 3 star wave.

Gravatar
By in United States,

^^^Sparky Ham, I assume the "abdominal snowman" is really good at sit-ups :)

Gravatar
By in United States,

Definitely want to get 1,3,5,8,&11 The rest I am not too interested in at the moment.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

These look great. I'll end up going after all 16.

Gravatar
By in United States,

These are awesome... if I wan't already a big fan, I would certainly be into these!

Gravatar
By in Sweden,

A mixed bag as usual, though mostly good. Love the huge Tiki mask, and the playful Yeti. Definitely don't get why they made the rollerskating waitress wear a yellow shirt though, since it's the equivalent of a human being wearing a shirt the exact same colour tone as their skin. Looks really weird, and I honestly thought that was something LEGO never did (unless they're bare-chested) for that exact reason.

Similarly strange that they gave the rock climber a full-sized pickaxe instead of the ice pick that already exists. That's just incredibly lazy, as is the LEGO Star Wars blaster circa 10 years ago that they gave the evil mech. Surely they could've given him a new weapon, like that one from the Superman sets.

Gravatar
By in United States,

You know, I was telling myself I would avoid pictures of this series. I actually planned to walk into the LEGO Store on September 1st and be surprised by what I found. And yet I clicked on the picture anyway. Glad I did - the Scientist, Grandma, Diner Waitress, Jazz Musician, and probably at least two Evil Mechs are on my list for sure.

^The waitress's outfit is Cool Yellow, which looks better/higher-contrast in real life. I agree the picture makes it look pretty weird.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Looks like another great series, and there are some great 'techniques' used for these minifigs. Like the Tonto crow on the scarecrow, and the Tiki mask on the tiki warrior actually fits OVER his hair piece!

Gravatar
By in United States,

THIS IS AWESOME! I WANT THE GINDERBREAD MAN!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Glad the back of the instructions show the pieces again, instead of MR GOLD. Helps the Zen of SitsFutf (Standing in the Store Feeling up the Figs.) Several of these are opposite sex versions of prior figs; pretzel girl, warrior dude, female windup robot, grandma to go with grandpa, tiki guy for hula girl. And the inevitable space dude with large gun - yawn.

Gingerbread man's cup says "Dunk me." Nice new selection to hunt for. Think I need an army of tiki guys and the Blues Brothers

Gravatar
By in United States,

i'm waiting for flickr to load, so i'll just say that I've wanted for some time for LEGO to have a set(s) where our first images are from someone who bought the actual product, not leaks or official hi-res. This has come pretty close.

Now that flickr has loaded, I can say the Tiki guy and scarecrow are definite must-buys. The welder, mech, and sax master are also really good. It seems like Lego wants these to be around for Christmas from the elf, gongerbread man, and abominable snowman.

Gravatar
By in United States,

And another minifigure gets added to murphquake's must haves because of a star of life: the ice climber is apparently a mountain rescue climber! Great series, I'm gonna go hard on the blues brothers ones... So Huw have any of these elements showed up in the database yet? I'm guessing there's a way to search the parts for ones introduced in the past few weeks/months but i'm not sure how

Gravatar
By in United States,

I may have a new favorite wave! Am I imagining it, or does the Bavarian girl have new legs?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

^^ not sure yet, the CMFs are handled slightly differently when scanning it so I'll take a look when I return from vacation.

Gravatar
By in United States,

These are looking really cool!

Gravatar
By in United States,

The mountain climber looks that he would go well with the 8063 Rescue Helicopter due to him having the same color ?scheme/logo on his gear. Isn't this the first Search and Rescue personnel Lego has made other than Res-Q or Coast Guard.

His ice ax looks more like a mattock that I would use to remove thistles.

Couldn't they have provided a Stokes Litter, EMS bag, or harness instead?

Gravatar
By in United States,

As a CMF fan, I love this series a lot, and not just because they're not released yet! I can't wait to get the Gnigerbread Man, the Elf, and the Yeti to go along with my Santa from Series 9. Also looking forward to the German girl, Jazz Player (C'mon, it's based on the Blues Brothers), the British cop and the Scarecrow. The Indian seems interesting. Note: his mask is not a headpiece, but a shoulder attachment (see right page, it's with the shoulder attachments). Plus, it reminds me of Courage the Cowardly Dog with the Ugha Bugha mask that Eustace Bagg wears to scare Courage. XD

Gravatar
By in United States,

This is a great set a ton that I will get doups of.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

The yellow outfit of the diner waitress is confusing and I agree that the mountaineer should have had the ice axe instead of this enormous pick, which would be totally impractical for someone climbing a mountain. There's really nothing special about the mountain climber except his rope and that isn't enough to justify buying him.

The Bavarian lady is my favourite. She perfectly complements the Lederhosen guy from series 8 and they could make an excellent Oktoberfest vignette together.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Love them! Very nice job, the robot sucks, but the rest seem very fun.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I feel that they need to make a minifigure in a future series that is injured, with a crutch, and head wrapped in a turban-like bun for an injury, and it would give all the medical personal in previous series to work on!

the series looks great though!

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Looks good, but I think Series 10 was probably better.

Gravatar
By in Taiwan,

I think the whole series is outstanding even though there are reused counterpart. And many fairytale elements are nice.

I'm not sure about Grandma. She doesn't look very good with Starlet's hair, since she should be a traditional woman that has a granddaughter with a red riding hood and a barcode-headed husband. If she's alone in a City set, I would be more willing to get her.

Though the Jazz Player has a tribute, I worry that he would become one of the Gangsters without his jazz.
The Diner Waitress is very cool, but I'd like to see a lady that works with the Waiter who seems to be from a luxury hotel.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Is n-number 5 a Polynesian of some kind...?

MY WISH HAS FINALLY BEEN FULFILLED!!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Jeepers, and I have barely started 10!

Gravatar
By in United States,

ehh. Definably want the welder and the 1st guy with the swords, Gladiator I guess, which will go good with the other Gladiator with helmet.

Gravatar
By in United States,

That yeti is fabulous.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Again a good mixture!! Looking forward!!

Gravatar
By in United States,

They all look pretty good. There aren't really many I want more than one of, though (but my wallet is thankful for that!). I bet the elf hat is in preparation for a cusoo Zelda set as doing it for this keeps the overall cost of the new part down, and if they don't do a Zelda set it's their way of giving Zelda fans the hat anyway.

And again, while there aren't any I feel compelled to have more than one of, I really think Lego made a great set. The lack of a Mr Gold style chaser figure is also a BIG plus.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Already?! When's the official release? If he's bought some, I'd like to see actual pictures as many of these are seriously disappointing compared to what could have been. By the look of it the Barbarian has no new parts?? No new sword, hair or shield! Think I'll be sticking to my 'finishing with series 10' decision. Far too many repeats.

Gravatar
By in New Zealand,

@UtarEmpire-

Maybe Melanesian rather than Polynesian? Vanuatu has 'em and some of the Fijian islands...

Gravatar
By in United States,

This is the first series i might contemplate buying a whole box. So many quality ones in here. Im delighted there's a bobby in there!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Really like the look of this series - I can see multiple uses for many of the parts, and the figs themselves are fun and quirky. I've only just realised the Waitress is wearing pink roller-skates! Glade to see a quick re-issue of that part.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Blacktron robot. I'm buying all of them

Gravatar
By in Germany,

With one (or maybe two) exception, a really good series! Can't wait to get them :-)

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

2, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

The gingerbread man looks cool and i also really like the evil mech.
Looks like i'm going to run out of money again. but when since did i ever have money in the first place?
because there's so many great sets as soon as i get more money it gets spent straight away and lego make so
many good sets.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

This is another great series. And no Mr Gold-type character, yay!

My favorites would be the Yeti, Tiki Warrior, Blues Brother, Gingerbread Man, Bobby and Scarecrow.

But why are they already on sale? Shouldn't they come out in September?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

So Much Good Stuff! Pink Ice Cream, Pink Roller Skates, Ginge, Elf, Yeti, Captain Scarlet (Rockclimber), Welder, Saxophonist, Bobby and a Girl Robot! I still need a bee from series 10!

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Been waiting for a British Bobby since series 1.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Must-have series 'cause of the Bavarian woman. :P Just to complete the Bavarian couple. :P

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Still trying to get the sea captain from S10 but these are distracting me already!

I can live with female counterparts to previous figs and 'evil' versions too - We lack variety in female figs and there are four here (seems silly to count a robot as a female) which I will pursue - the scientist has new colours of the chemistry flask, the waitress has new skates in pink and ice cream too, the new granny hair, etc.

Loving the yeti, tiki-man and gingerbread man for their cartoony scale, but finally, a British Bobby! Excited for that, along with the welder's mask and kit, the sax, elf's hat, climbers rope - even the scarecrow has the fairly rare pitchfork!

Gravatar
By in Bolivia,

Wow! I can't think of a single figure I wouldn't want at least one of.

It is either an artifact from the CGI/scanning or the Bavarian woman doesn't have normal minifig legs. I *think* the legs are a combination of the kid legs with black prints in the feet and a 2x1 brick with apron print.

Edit: I checked the instructions, and it seems it is just a normal white legs piece plus a fabric atron like the Scotish man's kilt.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

^Normal legs with cloth/fabric skirt. Like the bagpiper. The skirt is on the back page.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Very excited for these.

Love the Grandma, I thought she'd use the new Padme bun hairpiece, but I'm very happy to see the Starlet hair in Light Bley, plus a new cat and old lady face are welcome. Also nice to see Light Aqua legs.
Waitress looks great, love the prints and the hairdo, plus I don't have any ice cream. But why yellow? I know it's a lighter shade than Minifigure skin, but it still clashes a bit much. Aqua or even Pink would've worked much better.
I like the Lederhosen girl's hair, though I was hoping we'd get Princess Leia hair in blonde. Not too keen on cloth skirts, but I guess they do the job.
Love the Yeti and Scarecrow, plus the Mountaineer looks decent I think. Will get the Jazz Man purely for the Saxaphone - the fig itself is quite bland.

Scientist is disappointing. Other than the face (3 new female glasses faces!), the hands and the flasks, she is very bland and I'm sick of that ponytail. Female Robot looks awful, but I'll get her for the Dark Pink hands and because she's female (I collect every female CMF).
The Holiday Elf's accessories are nice (the teddy has a red bowtie I think), but the figure itself doesn't excite me. Barbarian just looks like a mix of parts we've had before. I like the Tiki Warrior, but his mask just seems a bit... too much.

Overall a great series, can't wait for more pictures.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

I'm a CMF since series 1 and to me it's the best series so far. I really like all of them except No. 1 and 4.
Will buy multiples of the other 14 figs.
Can't wait to get them! Great job TLG, great job!

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Really great fun all across the board, will have to pick-up a few doubles and perhaps quadruples in some cases. I'd really love to try my hands at making a MOC set piece from Carry on Constable with the English Bobby, not sure how best to pull it off yet, but I might try my hand at it.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Personally I like the whole series. I think there are quite a variety this time round. The only one I have initial misgivings about is the roller waitress. Mainly because of the colouring. I was hoping for a design that had would be somewhat more colourful. I'm just debating on which one I will buy more than one of. The Gladiator is a good start :D

Gravatar
By in United States,

This series isn't to appealing to me. Nothing I can really use in my LEGO City...
Probably just the evil mech and the yeti for me this time.

Gravatar
By in United States,

^ Doesn't your city need a welder?

Gravatar
By in Peru,

Tiki warriors and yeti awesome minifigures

Gravatar
By in United States,

this is probably the least army building series ever. I count only 3 that would be worth it to get more than 1 of. Honestly still need to find Beegirl yet last series :(

Gravatar
By in United States,

Nothing for LEGO City?!

The old time cop, the scarecrow(store display), diner woman, the welder, the scientist, the grandma, the jazz man.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Nice set. I love the bobby and the Bavarian girl. And the Saxophone!!!! :) Hopefully, the Yeti can be recolored for a nice American Sasquatch some day.

Granny does have the right hair... many older women have Marilyn Monroe's hair but it's just... um... grey. That style was all the rage during her life.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The welder could still be a man or a woman. Maybe there's a skull beneath the mask! Maybe the face is horribly burned! Maybe it's cross-eyed! Maybe it doesn't have a face at all!!!!

Gravatar
By in Canada,

I love the saxophone!

Gravatar
By in United States,

@ chuxtoybox, Or it could be a molded head! :-P

Gravatar
By in United States,

apparently they have never watched the Blues Brothers.... neither play the sax (Blue Lou did). They do need to make one with the short legs (Joliet Jake) and the tall (Elwood) should have a harmonica instead of the sax.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Elves (many) along with the Yetti, The German Girl and the Gingerbread man will be amazing in the 5 set Christmas Village. Could use the elves (2-3) along with the Santa from a couple series ago to set up a "Santa at the mall" type thing in town square with a throne type chair and a line of kids to see him. Throw in a photographer and set presents and teddy bears around and BOOM, cool custom addition to the Winter Village.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Cool collection of minifigures, especially the gingerbread man, tiki man, and th-the LEDERHOSEN WOMAN!?!?! Oh no. My LEGO world will never be the same. (Long story, please don't ask)

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

What a wonderful set of figures, who needs/wants a Mr Gold when we have these to look forward too. Only thing I find disappointing is that the female scientist is TOO similar to Dr. Harleen Quinzel from Arkham Asylum 10937.

Loving the yeti! Defo going to want a few of them and a number of others too!

I also hope that they have really got the head right on the gingerbreadmans, can anyone post some pics?

Gravatar
By in United States,

No, no no! That's not a Lederhosen woman; that's a DIRNDL girl!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Can't wait for the Yeti and Tribal Shaman guy!

Gravatar
By in United States,

@ickleb, the scientist reminds me of the female minifigure sets on cuusoo. There is a scientist one and its spot on in my opinion.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

For those people calling her the lederhosen woman/girl, that actually doesn't make any sense. Lederhosen are leather pants for men. The guy in series 8 wore lederhosen and this lady in series 11 obviously doesn't.

Gravatar
By in United States,

All look really awesome especially the yeti.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

These Look Amazing!
I'm guessing what to feel for:
#1 - 2 Swords
#2 - Pitchfork
#3 - Pretzel and skirt fabric
#4 - Shoulder Armour
#5 - Huge Mask
#6 - Head and Cup
#7 - 2x2 Brick and 2x2 Plate (maybe teddy?)
#8 - Furry Headpiece and Icepop
#9 - Pickaxe and Rope
#10 - Mask and 2x2 Circular Brick
#11 - the two bottles
#12 - Clarinet and Hat
#13 - Ice Cream or ROUNDED plate (don't get mixed up with Display Plate)
#14 - Cat, Basket and Hair Piece
#15 - Bat and Hat
#16 - Square head

Overall, this will be an easy series to fee for i think, unlike series 10, i've bought over 80 packets and i still need trendsetter...and Mr Gold of course ;)

Gravatar
By in United States,

For the trend setter, you have to feel for the dog and the phone. I've found a few, but I only own 1

Gravatar
By in United States,

@101... Good luck feeling for a clarinet, maybe you should try for a trombone as well.

Gravatar
By in United States,

@Huey1, thank you for the correction. But the lederhosen and dirndl girl would still be great for each other...

Gravatar
By in United States,

hermipad, why does the Yeti have the Diner Waitress ice cream and roller skates? lol

Gravatar
By in United States,

This is deffinetly my new favorite series I love them all! The Diner Waitress is my favorite!

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Blues Brothers!!! This looks like a really good series.

@101ThePolybagCollector101 - The Blues Brother is holding a saxophone, not a clarinet.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

The Bobby has "1337" printed on his collar and "JCF" on his badge. What does the latter refer to?

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

^it probably refers to the designer, just like the number plates

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Thanks very much for those pictures hermipad. I like the waitress a lot more after seeing that second face and the hair up close.

Do any of the other figures have double sided heads? And do any of them have back prints?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

^ Sparky Ham

I've been racking my brains over this... "Beefeater"? Do you mean the Actor/Thespian from Series 8? Otherwise I'm missing a figure...

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I think they're referring to the Series 5 Royal Guard.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

As much as i like lego minifigures i think they're taking it a bit far with series 11 the figures are good it's
just that i think by making so many so quickly makes them hard to collect (i don't collect them anyway)
but i have most of the ones from series six to series 10.

Gravatar
By in Spain,

Ha ha ha, Where is the another Blues Brother? I´m saxophonist too (beginner) so I agree with the first comment!

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

I have read that series 11 is not released in the Benelux. (Netherland, Belgium and Luxembourg) It is available through the shop @ home website and Lego brand stores (there are no official Lego stores in the Netherlands, but a few special shops). I do not know if these stores do get delivered ... to bad...
