New items and offers at shop.LEGO.com

Offers for August at shop.LEGO.com are as follows:

- Free 30106 Ice Cream Stand with any Friends purchase.
- Free 30230 Mini Mech with any purchase over $50 / £50 / €55
- Free shipping over $75 / £50 / €55 (available apparently for the whole year)

The 41999 Technic 4x4 Crawler Exclusive Edition can now be ordered, but unfortunately it's back-ordered into September both in the USA and Europe. How on earth did that happen so quickly?

The 21103 Cuusoo DeLorean is also also now officially available for $34.99 / £34.99 / €39.99. Mindstorms EV3 can also be pre-ordered, and three of the supposedly cancelled LEGO games can also be obtained now, in Europe at least.

Finally, loads of new stuff has been added for the USA, including Star Wars and Chima. See everything that's been added.

Here are links to the shop: UK | USA | Canada. Purchases made via these links (or any other link on the site) help keep Brickset on-line and free for everyone.

By in United States,

I don't see an option for pre-ordering the EV3 on the US S@H. It may be a Europe only option as well.

Are the games available from any European Amazons?

Will these be available in Lego shops too?

By in Canada,

Yes, but I hear 41999 is selling like hot cakes to call ahead if that's what you're after.

By in Netherlands,

I ordered 41999 just now, with an estimated delivery date of August 22nd.

And while the 21103 Cuusoo DeLorean is "only" €39,99 in Germany (and several other EU countries), it is a whopping 25% more expensive in the Netherlands (and a couple of other countries), at €49,99. And all those of you who will argue that taxes are different, etc., think about this: the 41999, although much more expensive, is EXACTLY the same price in the Netherlands as it is in Germany...

Thanks once again, Lego :( Lego must not have realized that consumer spending is already at an all time low in the Netherlands right now, with shops and even chains going bankrupt and unemployment rising. Insane and unfair pricing policies aren't helping.

By in Poland,

21103 also is now again out of stock. : ] I guess next ones will be with correct spelling on the brick. :P

By in United Kingdom,

41999 is all gone in Brighton, I just called out of interest and they told me that they had people waiting outside to buy the set prior to opening, they were sold out by 10:00am apparently.

By in United Kingdom,

Not the Best of Offers this month then, A friends set that was available in the uk with a Magazine for £2.99 and a Galaxy Squad set available in WHsmiths for £2.99. Come on Double VIP points.........

By in Australia,

The Mini Mech isn't very appealing; I'll hold out until next month in the hope of something better.

By in Gibraltar,

41999 said on the UK website shipping would not be until end of August... Great price too - not that I can order from them as Lego does not ship to my country. Here's hoping the local Lego distributors get hold of one or two but I doubt it as they never had the original crawler 9398 and they are still selling minifig series 9 ....

The uk shop.LEGO.com has been extremely busy and they have suffered issues with the website as a result. Just to demonstrate how busy it has been I placed an order at about 1am this morning before going to bed and then a further one at 7am in the morning before leaving for work. There was a difference of over 6 million between the sequencial order numbers. Both orders are showing a status of customer service. I phoned customer service this morning and they advised that the status was nothing to worry about and that they had been experiancing very high levels of traffic and the website was struggling to cope.

By in United States,

I'm probably the only person in the LEGO community that's not even slightly interested in the 41999.
Can't see what's so special about it...

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Why would i spend £50 just to get a free mini mech if i could just go to whsmith and buy one for £2.99
i mean it's nice freebee if you're buying stuff anyway.

Gravatar
By in Austria,

I bought 50011-The Battle for Helms Deep about three weeks ago in a Lego Store in Munich, but it was already marked down. I guess they stopped production for the last Lego Games early and just want to get rid of them.

By in Portugal,

Glad I got up earlier than usual to order 21103 because it was sold out like 15m after I placed my order! :D

Gravatar
By in Switzerland,

FYI: The US store still has 21103. So anyone with a contact (shipping address) in the states can still order one there.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Sucks that promo had to change at midnight. This "mech" set is really stupid the Hot Dog Cart was a much better set. But because the items I was ordering were August 1st releases I'm getting this set. :-(

By in Belgium,

I'm from Belgium but travelling in the States now. I ordered my Crawler at 9.10 PM, July the 31st Californian time, which is 00.10 AM, August the 1st New York time. I changed my shipping address to that of our friends here.
I have an order confirmation but no shipping date yet. The order also has been changed. They added the Mech and subtracted the shipping cost which I of course appreciate.
About the prices I have learned something interesting. For the 199 US$ you have to add 8% tax while for the Belgian price of 180 Euro the tax of 21% is already included. So, if you do some calculation, the ever called big price differences turn out to be actually smaller then they first look like.

Didn't realize my LEGO Store in Michigan was selling 21103 for the last couple weeks. The manager informed me that shipments arrive on Mondays. For the past 2 Mondays they have received only 18 Delorians each Monday so they have only gotten 36 total and both times have sold out by the end of the day. He said I should call ahead this coming Monday to check to see if they have received more of 21103. Hope this helps anyone in the Michigan LEGO store area.

Series 11 are on the site, but can't be bought. I guess we're still expected to search for Mr. Gold - go to the site and you'll see what I mean!

By in United States,

I ordered a 41999 this morning and I have already got the email confirming it has been shipped. It advised out of stock and backlog until 22nd Aug when I ordered. I guess they found a few in the back room :-)

By in United Kingdom,

I went to the Lego store today, and got the Friends polybag with the set I bought. It's nothing spectacular, though it does have that nice new ice cream cone and an ice lolly, was happy to get those for free.

Also noticed they did have the DeLorean (though I'm not getting it). BAM was pretty barren, they only had one type of torso! Though they had some gold Sensei Wu hats and the long black Vampire Bride hair, so I got one fig just for those.

By in Canada,

Looking at other sites, it seems that 41999 is sold out with Lego admitting it took more orders than there was the actual set. Glad I picked up 2 the other day at a Lego Store.

Huw did you manage to get one?

Gravatar
By in United States,

I did three orders- one when most new sets went live before midnight in hopes that I could sneak a hot dog cart in (I did), one after midnight when the Friends sets showed up (I think they took longer than the rest of the new sets because of the free Friends polybag with purchases being an August promo), and another in the morning. I was able to swing free shipping on all three, and I just got three e-mails telling me they have already shipped. LEGO just really impressed the dickens out of me.

@xiaolong - sales tax varies in the USA by state. 7% to 10% are typical rates, while some states do not have sales tax, such as Oregon, New Hampshire, and Alaska (mostly).

Gravatar
By in United States,

Does anyone know when the lego mindstorms ev3 robot come out for sale (not pre order)

Gravatar
By in United States,

Already got one, they gave it too me with a $40 dollar purchase though. Guess I got lucky=)

Gravatar
By in Denmark,

Picked up 41999 yesterday at the lego store Copenhagen, there was 3 boxes on the shelf, went there again today, and saw 4 boxes on the shelf. So I guess its not that sought after in DK.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

I order 1 august 1:30am, delorean and other things arrived today 2:30pm. impressive.

Gravatar
By in United States,

^ And I thought my orders from yesterday being scheduled for delivered tomorrow was fast!

Gravatar
By in United States,

As of 30 min ago, the Delorean is out of stock.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I wish Lego could have designed a NEW polybag as the promotion...I got this one from WH Smiths a while back! It may have been a good idea to do the Iron Patriot Polybag or maybe even a newer figure!

Gravatar
By in United States,

With all these new sets being made available, I'm surprised I have not seen the Series 4 planets. Were they available in the US at some point and I just missed them? Or is LEGO waiting to release them in the US for some reason?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I must be one of the few people who is not intrested in either 41999, or 21103, and is instead much more excited about the battle of helms deep board game!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

It would have been nice if the promotion was for a 41999 or 21103 micro build polybag.

By in Netherlands,

I got my Crawler when I came home this afternoon. I was on vacation in Germany and called LEGO Direct at August 1 at 09:30. The woman said that the crawlers they've received were already sold out. They would receive new crawlers at August 5. But when I came home it was already there (August 2nd)!!! Now just need to find the time to get to the post office to get the Technic Mobile Crane Mk II with the free Backhoe Loader... Lovely days!!!
