September offers at brand stores and online

Posted by ,

August's shop.LEGO.com freebies (see article below) are are bit disappointing, aren't they, since we've been able to get both polybags before. Things are looking up for September though, as the extract above from the calendar shows:

  • Spend $75/£50 and get a really excellent looking, unseen until now, mini T1 camper van.
  • Spend $50 on Star Wars and get 5001709 Clone Trooper Lieutenant, the one that was given away at LEGOLAND California in June, which is great news for us Star Wars minifig collectors!

I suspect the Ewok Village will be available in September, along with the Advent Calendars and the Winter Village Market, so there'll be plenty to choose from to spend your money on...

(Thanks to Kyle B for the scan!)

By in Romania,

This must be great news for those that paid over 200$ for clone trooper on ebay. :))

By in Belgium,

Sydney Opera House comes out on Friday 16 August for VIPs then on general release from 1 September. Definitely worth holding off until then for the mini camper van. (The fact none of us probably have any money left after this weekend is another factor....) Looks like another heavy month.

That's a great little camper van.

By in United Kingdom,

It certainly is. In fact when I first viewed the image I didn't realise it was a mini one!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Now is time to get the #10220.

Gravatar
By in United States,

That camper van looks wonderful. The creativity of LEGO designers never ceases to amaze.

By in United Kingdom,

That camper van looks great i got the bigger one for christmas last year and it's great too. And i thought that the winter
village market wasn't coming out till October and I'm looking forward to the new city advent calendar.
Plus there will also be new speedorz and one of the sets has new a fox minifigure.

A lot of stuff to save for plus there's also that argos 3 for 2 deal so everyone will end up broke.

By in Australia,

If you take a look at the bottom of the picture, it says the Lieutenant goes from September to early October!!!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I will be very pleased to get both of these polybags!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

+1 for the mini VW love!! What a great idea.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

That mini VW is awesome, I can't wait to get one!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Looks like the Lieutenant offer runs for 2 months, from September 1st to October 31st (hope this is the case in the UK). Could this one coincide with a double points offer?

Love the campervan too, but I'm not sure my bank balance means I can afford another £50 order! We'll have to wait and see :-)

Gravatar
By in Australia,

If I were to order just the Ewok Village, would I get both promos, because the van just says for orders over $75, probably AU$100.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Well I will wait and put my 2nd wave Star Wars order in September to grab both of these guys. The Camper looks like it has a ton of parts for a freebie poly

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Wow, the camper van is gorgeous. I am definitely keen to get that one.

I'm not too bothered about the trooper. The problem with clones is that they all look the same! I really wouldn't know that this was an exclusive...

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I neeed that mini camper to display alongside the original :p better start saving for september then...

Gravatar
By in United States,

^^^^ You should get both promo if you buy a Star Wars item that is over $75. I got the space promo and the Friends promo this month with a Friends order over $75.

I would like that mini camper too as it looks wonderful, but we just did three $75 orders this month, and October is historically when double VIP Points are earned.

Gravatar
By in Portugal,

Time to get 75025 I guess.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Sweet. I think I'll order the two gunships and two AT-TE's I've been meaning to get, one at a time, once September starts!

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Looks like that'll be the very first sticker I will actually apply to a LEGO set. They finally got me.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

If it's true that Sydney Opera House launches August 16 for VIPs, it's going to be hard holding off until September to qualify for that mini Camper Van. Hnnnggg!

By in France,

For all the Camper Van lovers around there, I would suggest to have a look at Cuusoo project 16609:
http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/16609

Sure LEGO's little model looks nice with its 70~80 parts, but he Cuusoo projects pushes the concept way further!

Hahahaha...

Anyway that trooper was a give away directly for children at Star Wars days this year at lego land. Parents have been trying to halk them all this time for $150 or more. Lego releases said figure months later as a giveaway with $50 purchase in Star Wars.

I think that right there is proof Lego knows what is doing when it makes these rare figures. I guess I feel bad for the people who paid an arm and a lego on EBay for one. But in the future hopefully this will teach collectors the word patience.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Yes! There are several things I want to purchase but I already have too many of August's polys. September looks awesome, awesome....

Gravatar
By in United States,

Yes!!! September looks to be the best month for S@H giveaways ever IMO. I'll definitely be putting in multiple orders for the troops, and the mini camper is fantastic.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I know this is unrelated but it does mention 4-wide cars like that nice looking T1 Camper, does anyone know if tiny turbos will ever come back?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Has anyone got the full look at the calendar or am I just missing it?

Gravatar
By in Italy,

but the postage will remain free?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Dear all the people who bought the SW Minifigure for 200 dollars,
Sucks to be you...

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

All very predictable! ...and I'm sure Azog will be available in the winter releases in exactly the same colour as the ones released at SDCC....why set up machines that mass produce for a couple of hundred figures only ?...nah, there'll be thousands of Azogs already produced in the same run as the SDCC figs ready to be added to sets!

Gravatar
By in United States,

@cortomilanse
Yes, shipping is still free above the $75 threshold. I don't know what that threshold is in Europe, but it will still work.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Woohoo! I can spend over $75 and get both and the perfect time too, right around my b-day :-)

Gravatar
By in United States,

Just bought the Architecture Studio 21050 last Friday. Should have waited 'til September. The little VW mini T1 camper van looks so cute. My last order of minifigures came last week, I got 2 identical ones out of 3 I ordered. *Sign! Not very lucky lately. :-(

Gravatar
By in United States,

This is great! I can put aside my order of SW sets until then and at least get the Lieutenant.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Looks like an excellent deal. I have the larger Camper Van, so this will go nicely. Plus a free SW figure? What's not to love? I really hope that the Ewok Village comes out in September, as this will be a great bonus.

Gravatar
By in United States,

So I guess I'll be buying a few Star Wars sets to total $50 and get the City race car trailer. I can get both by doing this, right?

Gravatar
By in United States,

@Knowledgable people here- Is there any way to know the LEGO online offers more than a month early?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Even better news for me since I'm buying the ev3 robot in September (cause that's when it comes out) and the mini van looks awesome

Gravatar
By in United States,

@goldchains it does

Gravatar
By in United States,

This sounds easy enough buy ewok village and get both free!!!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Why are the headlights as big as the wheels on the camper? Also, who smashed out the front windows of it?

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

The lego winter village is to be released on the first of october as noted on lego.com.
btw, the lego camper looks very nice for such a tiny model.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Not fussed about the trooper but that mini T1 is ace! Hopefully I'll be able to get it if I buy both new Minecraft sets...

Gravatar
By in Italy,

@ Zckula
Grazie, thank's!!!!in Europa €55 for free shipping.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

As if the Ewok Village wasn't already a must-buy for me! That mini-camper looks superb, and I've already got 10220. Superb offers, thanks TLG!

Gravatar
By in United States,

@jtchr: perhaps should get ev3 in October and get double points?

Gravatar
By in Italy,

@Zackula
Grazie, thank's!!!!in Europe €55 for free shipping.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Great offers. I already forgot what August's promos were. I almost ordered something recently, but it looks like I will just hold out until September then to get my SW sets. I don't care about the clone, but I'll take anything limited release for free. Plus, that camper van looks amazing for such a mini model. I still need to get the full scale version too. I'm hoping Christmas.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Three words: Tartakovsky Arc Trooper.

Gravatar
By in Italy,

EVVIVA! I really hoped to see an offer with the clone trooper lieutenant, i'm really satisfied and excited about it!

Gravatar
By in United States,

@Maxximus, that's the first thing I was thinking too. I just need the clone captain ( republic gunship) to make fordo.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Wow, that mini camper van is so accurate to it's big brother at first I didn't even notice that it was mini!

Gravatar
By in Ireland,

Doh! I order the big brother version this morning #10220, didn't know this was going to be a freebie from September. Is there any other freebie at the moment, I didn't see anything mentioned.
