By in Australia,

Actually TrU here isn't that bad; things are at RRP (not bizarre markups, like I hear about from TrU stores overseas) - so 25% off is *actually* 25% off (assuming they include the items you want, which it seems, is an across-the-board discount this time). Its about the best deal we will get here to be honest.

Set 75025 Jedi defence class cruiser is also out at TRU if anyones interested. Better be quick though. My local store only had 1left.

By in United States,

I refuse to shop at TRU because the workers at my location are jerks, and they are too exspensive.

Some information for Lego fans not in Australia:
- TRU generally sells Lego at RRP (as PerfectlyDark says), and has occasional exclusive sets and bonus offers - buy $75 of Star Wars Lego, get a free mini-whatever. They have sales and discounts about as often as other major stores. 25% off is good for an Australian retailer. (By comparison, Myer, KMart and Target have regular 20% off Lego sales.)
- Their staff are no better or worse than other stores in Australia. I did know someone who worked for them about 20 years ago who said they didn't get a staff discount. That put me off getting a job there!
- The main thing they have going for them is that if you want to buy toys, they have a pretty good range all in the one shop. Their competition selling toys in Australia is Mr Toys/Toyworld, a handful of small toyshops and some Australian web stores. Their real competition is department stores (Myer and David Jones) and variety stores (KMart, Target and Big W).
- Lego in Australia is more expensive than major markets (Europe and US) and less expensive than other markets (Africa particularly).
- Across Australia price differences are small, so bargains are usually found in sales like this, or on the internet (as long as you account for exchange rates and postage).

By in Australia,

I think for the first time, TRU has a price decrease on a set. The Republic Gunship is $160 there, while at Target it's $180, and at Big W it's $170. They don't have it at my K-Mart or Myer though.
