Free tickets for BrickCon 2013

Posted by ,

Our friends over at Chowren Toys have free tickets to the public days at BrickCon in Seattle to give away to Brickset readers:

"BrickCon is one of the longest running LEGO convention and exhibitions in North America. It will be held October 5 and 6, 2013 at the Seattle Center in Seattle, Washington USA. As a sponsor of this event, we are giving away 10 pairs of tickets (20 tickets) to the public exhibit to readers of Brickset. All you need to do is go to our website and enter the promo code BRICKSETBC at the check-out to get the free tickets.

Shipping for the tickets will also be free, but only within the US by First Class Mail. If you are outside of the US and are planning to attend, please contact us to make alternative arrangements. It is one pair of tickets per household and the tickets are not for resale as they have no dollar value. There are only 10 pairs so only take these if you are serious about attending. Just like with any of our promotions, you'll need to have registered an account in our store in order to use this code."

Thanks Jason -- it's a bit far for me to go, but I hope one day to get over to a US LEGO convention; maybe next year!

Jason has also asked me to remind you that if you're planning on attending the AFOL days and haven't yet registered, you'll need to get your finger out:

"Attendee registration deadline for BrickCon is September 18, so if you have not yet registered, you should do so soon! There are two ways to participate at BrickCon. One is to visit the public exhibition and the other is to come as an attendee. The public exhibition allows you access to the vendors and to see all the incredible displays, but if you come as an attendee, you get all that and much, much more! There are free LEGO giveaways, games, access to the public exhibit before the weekend and after hours, just to name a few. It is well worth the money!"

I highly recommend going for those who can. I've gone for several years and will be there again this year. Public hours are fun, but the full convention is better! So if you haven't decided, come and have fun with us :)

I'm going to go as an attendee for sure! I was just hoping I could get those tickets for my brother and sister for the visitor days.

As attendee you can request tickets for family and friends when you check in at BrickCon. I don't know how many tickets you can request.

I would love to go to this lego con (or any lego con) but the only close one is brick fair Virginia, and I say close it a 6 hour drive.
