This is the series that features characters from The LEGO Movie which, apparently, are called:

William Shakespeare, Gail the Construction Worker, Panda Guy, Abraham Lincoln, Taco Tuesday Guy, Larry the Barista, President Business, Calamity Drone, Marsha Queen of the Mermaids, Wild West Wyldstyle, Scribbe-Face, Bad Cop, Velma Staplebot, Hard Hat Emmet, “Where are my Pants?” Guy, Mrs. Scratchen-Post and Wiley Fusebot.

By in United States,

I'll be feeling the bags for my son to get Panda Guy, Lincoln, Shakespeare, Emmet and maybe Taco Tuesday Guy. Looks like a great series.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Taco Tuesday Guy.. Good Lord...

Gravatar
By in United States,

Are Lincoln and Shakespeare the first genuinely historical people to be sold as minifigs?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Yes, yes, yes. I'll take them all.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Every time I think I'm out... they keep draggin' me back in. I was hoping for a properly retro Space man and/or a member of the NBA All-Star team, but this set'll do. It'll do quite well.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Bye bye money... :-(

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Want them all! :)

By in United Kingdom,

@ijackson

I think Julius Caesar has been made into a minifig. He's holding a 2x2 flat piece that says "Veni, vidi, vici" which is one of Caesar's most famous quotes.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Erm, why does the list contain 17 names?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Those are awesome! So glad we are getting the Lincoln from the trailer!

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm loving the new hair pieces, that 60's hair the robot lady has is great. The panda is super cute, I will be getting the whole series.

Gravatar
By in United States,

^ "Scribbe-Face, Bad Cop" is one name.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I want Lincoln and Shakespeare most... but I'd get all of them if I could.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

The barista has stolen David Mitchell's hair, it seems :-)

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Julius Caesar was never named. He was just Roman Emperor. Otherwise before that there was Cleopatra in the CMF series 5.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

How do you feel through the poly bags to know which figure you're getting? I find the plastic too thick to tell what shape is underneath.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Two words… ABE LINCOLN. :D

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Amazing! Looks like the best set yet!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Do we need a cop in every series? Do children not have enough cop pieces? lol

The panda holding the panda is awesome, three great robots, the female main character in that dress is beautiful. The hair pieces are great.

I'll stock up on series 12 and skip the lame big headed Simpsons series 13.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

I do not like this series.
Lincoln and the panda are great. But that is about it.
What are thise three zombie looking guys, girls... its...

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

I only want Wyldstyle and Emmet:p

Gravatar
By in Denmark,

I love that the movie works as an excuse to have sugary sets like the 'Fool Palace' and action-y sets like the vehicle-based ones we saw earlier in the same theme. =)

The highlights of S12 are, for me, Shakespeare and - now that LostInTranslation has noted it - David Mitchell's hair. =D

Gravatar
By in United States,

Wish there was the wizard and space guy too....bummer

Gravatar
By in United States,

Coffee Shop Barista and Cat Lady from the 2nd trailer! Perfect!!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

^^ Most likely Vitruvius and the 1980something space guy will be in one of the many sets!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Man I wanted to avoid the series 12 but with the drones and panda suit guy cat lady and ticked off executive I do notthink I can pass it up.. Darn you LEGO!!!!!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Love them all and lots of good pieces for customization.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Great print and great parts. I love the orange kitty, and all the new hair we can get! Can't wait to see what other minifigs we will get with the sets... Also notice nothing licensed yet, maybe we will not get new Batman or other themes

Gravatar
By in United States,

What I like about this is that the minifigs are all static, it actually even feels like the movie. All of the other pictures for Collectible figs are all action-y with their impossible movements. It's almost too weird to look at and say that it is a Collectible Series. For the first time ever though, I may try to get some Collectible Figs from a store.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I can use plenty of the parts of this Collectible Minifigures Series.

The Mariachi Guy again, really, this has got to be the worst rehash of the whole CM line.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Disappointed that when it was announced that this series would contain minifigures new and "new again", they didn't actually mean characters like Benny the Spaceman or Johnny Thunder, but instead re-treads of collectible minifigures like the Taco Tuesday Guy and mermaid. Sigh.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

[The not really] Collectible Minifigures never fail to impress me, but it's usually the question of wether or not I need them that stop me from dropping a lot of money. Since I stopped buying [not so] collectible minifigures around the time of series 6 or 7, I'm going to see which of these minifigures will be featured in the movie's sets. So once I get set pictures and have seen the movie to know the selection of characters I actually want, I'm not going to drop $3.50 a bag for these things.

70803 is cute, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't belong in my collection. Depending on how much I like that scene (or perhaps the overall movie) I might buy it. I don't imagine Lego will be "giving this set away" cheaply though, and a set's charm only gets it so close to the cash register before I put it back on the shelf!

Gravatar
By in United States,

I was really hoping for the "God" Figure. The one played by Morgan Freedman.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I have never picked up a CMF before ($3.99 seems like too high a price for most figs), but I just might have to with these. I would even be happy with multiples of most of them, except for Taco Tuesday, Emmet (1 would be enough, plus he is guaranteed to be in a set), and Mr. Where-Are-My-Pants. But I would be happy no matter which one i got.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Doesn't look to be the best series to me.
I'll buy one complete series but the only ones i take as a extra will be the
Abraham Lincoln, Panda Guy, William Shakespeare and maybe mr. taco and the tan-heared gray-face for the hear.

DOES ANYONE ALREADY KNOW IF THIS SERIES COMES TO F.E. THE NETHERLANDS, BECAUSE THE LAST SERIES DIDN'T OFFICIALLY ?

AND Scribbe-Face, Bad Cop IS one figure, now it looks like two with the extra ,

Gravatar
By in Taiwan,

I personally have polarized views, but generally it isn't as bad as I or many people thought, because there are many interesting elements and usable army builders.

The most controversial part is whether this series would include too many main characters (which means they would also be in regular sets), leading to loss in value or incapability of being army builders. The result is that at least four of them are. Wyldstyle is obviously an alternative version, but the guys would very possibly remain the same look in regular sets. To my surprise, Emmet has hair in helmet even though his hair is "short" (like Lacy's horseriding hair used for the female construction worker).

For the parts, there are many new parts which proves that TLC really put much more investment than past series. We can also see six female characters in this series, which means the series has most girls so far (but I wonder if there would be another important female hero/rival in the movie).

Excluding main characters, the rest of them are very "distinctive", which would make fewer fans support certain minifigure and want to collect them all. A remarkable idea is that the designers can make "crazy" counterparts (grandma, mermaids etc), not just in rivalry or opposite gender.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Abraham Lincoln + short legs = Isambard Kingdom Brunel, overseer of many Lego construction projects to come!

Great series overall I think - whilst there are a few rehashes we see the same every CMF line, and I think that this line stands up by itself without being seen as a 'movie' line which is great news.

What's with all the zombies though? Zombies are SO noughties.

Big thumbs up from me overall, put me down for a box :)

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I am really excited for the lego movie now! I cannot wait! The series looks great and I will try to get as many as them as I can. It's good that some of them are main characters like emmet for the people who don't want to buy the big sets.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Those aren't zombies, guys, they're Lord Business's robots. In the latest trailer, there's some construction worker robots as well, which I'm thinking we might end up seeing in the main sets.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Some good new pieces in this, but right now I think this is my least favorite series of the 12 - maybe because I haven't seen the movie yet and I don't feel a particular connection to "Where are my pants guy" or "Calamity Drone", but overall most of these figures just seem a little weird. Having archetypes instead of specific characters works better for the CMF-series, imho.

Panda Guy and Abe Lincoln are must-haves, though.

But no Michelangelo... unfortunately.

And those creepy robots could maybe be used for a John Carpenter "They live!"-MOC. Obey!

Gravatar
By in Australia,

I wonder why Shakespeare is reappearing. He was already in series 8 by a different name.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The other Shakespeare was actually an actor playing a Shakespeare type role.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

... very nice indeed .. we are still waiting for Series 11 Minifigs to come to the normal shops here in Finland, so I expect these 2015 ;)

Gravatar
By in Australia,

This is a must have for the panda teddy bear accessory and the coffee cup!!!!!!!

Gravatar
By in Norway,

johnnyfinlandia,

I'm sorry to break this to you, but this came from Kim of the LEGO CEE team a while ago:

"I have been in contact with LEGO Nordic/BeNeLux

They confirmed that Series 11 is NOT going to be launched in their region (Denmark/Norway/Sweden/Finland/Belgium/The Netherlands/Luxembourg)

It will still be available through LEGO's channels - Shop@Home, LEGOLand and LEGO Brand Retail Stores.

I can understand your frustrations on not being able to buy the sets in regular toy stores, but there is not much that can be done.

I asked them kindly not to do this again in the future.

The Series will still be available in Germany, which is pretty close to BeNeLux at least.

Kim"

Which means that Shop@Home and BrickLink are your best options.

Gravatar
By in United States,

At first I was disappointed that there are a bunch of main characters here. But after looking over em, I think they're probably alternate versions that won't appear in the sets. (Or I hope so anyway.)

However, the rest of these are outstanding! Quite a fun and colorful lineup that fits with the general theme of collectible figs and works with the movie. I don't see any in this lot that I'm not excited about!

Gravatar
By in United States,

I love the panda! I was waiting for LEGO to release a panda minifigure! Overall, a pretty decent series. :)

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Has anyone else wondered, if the classic space man is in a set, will his helmet be pre-broken? :P

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Yes. But if the spaceman comes with a broken helmet and a scratched/faded torso, I don't need to buy him, because a lot of my old spacemen already look like that. :D

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I'll get these and display them more-or-less as they are:

- Mermaid
- Panda
- Shakespeare

And these for parts:

- Lincoln
- Calamity Drone
- Mrs Scratchen (with long, grey hair?)

Overall, not particularly interesting. At least my wallet won't take a pounding this time.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Love 'em. Especially Panda Guy, Abe Lincoln and Wild West Wildstyle. There's a lot of cool pieces in the rest, too.

Gravatar
By in United States,

A ok set... I wish the robot police man that we saw in the set at comic con was in the packets if he was I probably would have bought ten of em lol Pandas a must though

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

William Shakespeare - Seems very similar to S8 fig, but I'm not complaining about more torsos like that.

Gail the Construction Worker - Is she a significant character? She's pretty boring, but if so then her presence makes sense.

Panda Guy - Want that panda teddy! The fig is nice too.

Taco Tuesday Guy - Nice serving dish, can see that being useful, and another poncho is good. Would've been cool if he'd been an acoustic guitar player though.

Larry the Barista - Jonathan Ross anyone? Hair looks cool, like the face and the uniform. Great fig.

President Business - Will get for suit and hair, plus Octan mug is awesome.

Calamity Drone - Love the hair and LR hat recolour. The dress looks great, just a pity it has the grey printing!

Marsha Queen of the Mermaids - Wish the gem was a new colour and the face looks weird, but the blue hair and Lavendar tail look great, one of my favourites.

Wild West Wyldstyle - Glad to get the hair without buying the sets, plus that dress will be good for all sorts.

Velma Staplebot - That beehive is amazing! Like the 60s outfit too (use for Velma Dinkley?), this fig is very useful.

“Where are my Pants?” Guy - Will get for the great Hawaiian shirt, but otherwise really dull. New hair colour would've made a big difference I think.

Mrs. Scratchen-Post - Would've been nice to get an old lady face a bit more different from the S11 one, but the expression is good. Great to get more grey hair, and pink arms are really rare aren't they?

I have zero issues with the fact these are movie tie ins. Aside from Gail, Missing Pants Guy and Policeman, they all look fantastic, and even they have redeeming pieces. 3 robots might seem repetitive, but they all have such unique accessories and outfits it doesn't matter. Not my number 1 series, but it's a great one nonetheless!

Gravatar
By in United States,

I am excited about most of these figures - I know with CMF there are, of course, always some that aren't very appealing to me. My son loves pandas so that double panda (big and little) is going to be very popular in our home! Abe Lincoln - one for me, one for our LEGO town, and one for Grandpa. Shakespeare - that's awesome! I now must have 10 different types of police officers, don't really need another.

Now... how do I figure out the best way to break it to my wife that I'm not actually going to stop at Series 11 like she might have been led to believe?

Gravatar
By in Indonesia,

They should make Metal Beard minifig

Gravatar
By in Australia,

There's a few spoilers for the movie, here, but Abe Lincoln and Shakespeare are both givens. I love the Panda guy, too. And the queen of the mermaids looks awesome.

I will say, though, that I do hope we get Michelangelo and David, and a Green Lantern minifig, in the next season.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

I'm not sure about Lord Business Hideout set, those giant legs would break off VEEEEEERRY easily

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Yio:
"I'm not sure about Lord Business Hideout set, those giant legs would break off VEEEEEERRY easily"

Maybe they are glued together? :D

Gravatar
By in Canada,

The new hoodie piece for the girl on Fool's Palace is amazing.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Yeah, actually, I'm looking at Lord Business's giant legs and no, they don't look terribly stable at all.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Any idea when these will be released? I'm guessing Jan. 1 . . . but would love to know for sure.

Gravatar
By in Taiwan,

> There's a few spoilers for the movie, here, but Abe Lincoln and Shakespeare are both givens.
Contrarily, I think it's hard to directly make such characters in a normal CMF line since they're based on real people. If they appear in a physical story as parody, they can be indirectly regarded as fictional characters.

> how do I figure out the best way to break it to my wife
Take her to the theater and naturally grab some merchandise, unless she finds out from the beginning.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I think Shakespeare has been done before in Series 8 (frilly collar, came with a skull) unless he was meant to be Hamlet. Looking forward to all the Walter White customs with No Pants Guy.

Oh, and pantless Abe Lincoln.
