Bumper crop of instructions added to LEGO Customer Services

Maersk Line Container Ship

Hot on the heels of the release of the summer sets, LEGO's customer services has been busy updating their building instructions portal. But to save you hunting on their site to try and find out what's new, I've done the hard work for you and you'll find a list of the new additions here at Brickset.

One of the more interesting ones is this brochure for set 10155, the re-released Maersk container ship. It contains background information about the LEGO company, about the design of the model written by the designer, and also about Maersk shipping and containers. As far as we know this re-released model was only available to Maersk employees.

Also in this latest batch is instructions for the Prince Of Persia Brickmaster set, 20017.

Imagine if LEGO made a UCS version of a Maersk Container Ship. I'd buy that in a heartbeat.

By in Germany,

@Sly: Yes, but would it float? And anyway, do the LEGO Maersk ships float?

@Sly Raskal, It already appears big.

By in Poland,

This ship is great, I'm very sad that is only for employees...

@Huw You just put the 10155 in the 2009 sets! Why is this?

By in Canada,

Because the (c) on the instructions is 2009.

Wait, I'm confused. IS the current one (10155) only exclusive to employees, or will it be released later?

Look out everyone, I think Lego is having another one of its arbitrary price hikes again... just saw the Endor Battle set for £85 on S@H. Last time I checked the economy hadn't leaped by 15% and neither has my income, but i suppose Lego will say it's in line with inflation or some other rubbish. Well, I guess it's off to the poor house for me now. LOL... i say 'lol', but i'm not laughing... ;o)

Ahhhh.

By in Canada,

10155 is the same as 10152 which was available in 2004 from LEGOshop.com. I would not expect 10155 to be released to the public.

For some reason, 7160, 7145 and 7157 all have SW ads in them booklets.....

(pg 54, book 2 for 7160, pg 54 for 7145 and pg 26 in 7157)

How can the (c) on the 10155 insructions say 2009? And on the booklets for 7160, 7145, and 7157, why do they all have SW ads?

Is the Brickmater Prince of Persia set out yet? Is there any way we will be able to get these in the UK? Thanks.

By in France,

Are there that many Maersk employees into Legos???
I would like to know what is Lego's reasoning behind such marketing ops? Shipping contract with Maersk?
It is just too bad that this set is not designed for retail; I just love reality based Legos!
If there is a Maersk employee within the brickset community; please let me know!
