Advent day 6

Posted by ,

There wasn't much to write about yesterday so I didn't bother, but today we have our second proper minifig in the City calendar, a 'robber'.

It's rather bizarre that he's drinking a cup of tea and not weilding a crowbar or something. Maybe he's just popped into the station for a cuppa with the policeman from day 1...

It's also bizarre how many spare neck scarves we are getting: 2 spare with the snowman earlier in the week and 2 spare with this minifig.

@Huw: Don't complain about the extra scarves, that is an uncommon part and I like getting extras. Don't Jinx it for us!!

I do agree about the cup, but he is probably drinking coffee he stole from the convenience store he broke into...

Scarves for everyone!

And coffee, it would seem.

By my count, there are enough extra scarves for the other minifigures that are in this set excluding Santa and the Spaceman.

I have so many red neck scarves I have from previous advent calenders. Got to have at least 20 lol.

Im suspicious of the robber. He might take the crowbar and open up the day 24 door :0

^_^ I'm always loosing my LEGO scarves, so I'm happy I've got some spare ones now,
you can never have to many scarves :P

On the Friends front, we now know that the kiosk from yesterday was for perfume bottles and makeup. I was hoping for those new cookies.

My son was quite happy with all the scarves, he's put them on other minifigs, but my Daughter wasn't impressed that her brother had a minifig and now she has all hers. I'm still hoping that next year they will release Marvel and DC calendars. Can you imagine the sales on them especially if the characters inside where new :) (I know it won't happen due to licensing but we have Star Wars.)

By in Norway,

I only had one red scarf, so I'm very happy about getting all these spare ones!

It's Christmas, Huw.

Cops and robbers put their differences aside in the name of peace on earth and goodwill to all men.

By in Denmark,

I still haven't opened any of the bags, so I know exactly how many spare parts each bag has. So far, the burglar has the most.

I'm quite happy for the scarves; I had none before, now, with the spares, I have 4!

And what is in the Friends Advent today?

EDIT: Never mind, I just saw a Youtube video of day 6. ;)

I'm loving all the extras. Hats, teacups, scarves, a bone, etc. The robber is cool too.

@hylirica

exactly. in mine, my cop is wishing my robber merry Christmas. And the robber isn't stealing anything. He's saying "you too!" to the cop. On the 24th, when I get santa, I'm gonna have all the minifigures Christmas caroling outside the house.

He's obviously a Brit.

By in Australia,

It's Christmas, right? So mine are drinking eggnog...I also put the 2 spare red cups to use by making them both 'double-parked'...they're both getting quite merry! ;-)

As for the robber not wielding a crowbar; all weapons (& handcuffs) have to be 'checked' into the barrel from the 5th when entering the house, so the policeman and robber are on neutral turf (for now).

Happy with all the spareparts!
Enough to give all the mini figs in my winter village a scarve! ;)

Had some extra in other sets as well, guess they are so light, they can only weigh them by three at a time...

It's gonna be awkward if the robber goes to the barrel to get his crowbar at the same time the policeman goes to get his handcuffs... that Christmas coffee amnesty might just be the only solution!

It is odd with the scarves... but I look on the side of "I have extras!" and enjoy them for that.

I'm happy with the extra scarves, all in the same colour, as I can now expand my Scout troop.
