Advent day 15

Posted by ,

In today's City calendar we have another minifig, a mechanic. The Octan logo race suit is new this year and appears in this and two other sets, the fire boat 60005 and Grand Prix truck 60025, so it's a new one for me.

I have no idea what the 'accessory' is though, do you?

It's an um.. maybe a thing of some sort... possibly a race thingy maybe, okay I give up I have no idea what that thing is. Really liking the advent calender day reviews, but I have one suggestion. You should make your advent countdown pages a little longer, more like the star wars ones and I think that would make them a lot more enjoyable. But still very good work

I think it is a goKart engine. I was puzzled at 1st.

It's the engine for day 17's GoCart.

I really like the mini figure in this set, the green looks great and he has one of my favorite heads of all time. I'm glad there still producing it, a must have figure for me.

My dad is a mechanic, so I know that is a car engine. Hmmm, but for what? Indeed a nice minifigure.

Yes it is the engine from day 17's kart:)

As I said on the astronaut post - reckon this is a fancy dress party...

I thought that it's an air wrench for the wheel (lug) nuts. Could be wrong.....

Have you all been peeping in your windows early? :)

By in United States,

You don't need to look in the windows, the builds are listed in order on the calendar's page, from bottom left to top right.

Kinda defeats the object doesn't it? I haven't peeked...

Hey!!

What's with you guys spoiling Day 17 for me? That's really not cool...

Thanks for the spoilers...

Its not a go kart. its a speed boat ;)

By in United States,

Spoiler alert! Oh wait, that's supposed to come *before* the surprise is spoiled... ; )

All this worry about Day 17 getting spoiled caused that date to get stuck in my head and this morning (16th) I accidentally opened Day 17 instead.

Now that is irony.

By in Denmark,

When I thought no window could best day ten's eight spare parts, this one came with eleven.

@iadoreminifig I really like the minifigure too, and his face is also one of my favorites. Some people think the face is annoying for being overused, but so was the smiley face in the 80's.

@Demarco , so, does the engine fit? ;)

Thanks for spoiling day 17 ... not cool.

Yeah, this Advent stands out to me as being very "extra part heavy." I don't recall a previous advent having so many extra parts, and some cool ones too... Hot dogs, star wands, gold face masks... I'm liking it so far.

Through Day 15, I am also impressed already having 5 minifigs and a snowman...

Grrrr! Why did you spoil it for us?! A lot of us are actually opening just one window at a time and enjoy being surprised each day. Very uncool of you.

By in Canada,

Today came with a whopping 11 spare parts!

To everybody saying half of us spoiled it, it's not like we spoiled day 22's! We did it for one that was a day away!

And, also, that's what huw asked for.

By in United Kingdom,

^Two days away, no? And since when does the fact it could have been worse mean it's okay?

Huw asked what we all thought it might be.
He didn't ask if anyone knew for sure what it was because they'd checked ahead!

Think about it - if he wanted to know for sure and thought that revealing a future day's windows was okay, he could have just checked the set details page himself and told us what was coming. He wanted to get a friendly discussion going, not for someone to blast in with the answer!
