The third Friends Animals set in series four is Turtle’s Little Paradise, which is the only one to include an animal that has featured before. However this time, the turtle is lavender, whereas in Turtle's Little Oasis, it was lime green.
The 'paradise' itself does indeed look idyllic with its crystal clear waters cascading down the rock face before reaching the sandy beach. The turtle has two places to sit (2x2 plates with 1 stud): in the water or on the brown rocks. It's a nice little vignette.
Piece-wise, there's nothing worth buying it for particularly: the medium azure parts, of which there are six, and the lime green tree-leaf are the highlights.
As well as being a different colour, the turtle is sporting a different print. Here it is with last year's one:
It's a charming, if unremarkable, set and one the target age group will love, although perhaps not quite as much as the other two, particularly if they already have last year's turtle.
That's it then for the Friends Animals reviews for now, until Series 5 is out in a few months' time when we have a bear, a macaw and an orangutan to look forward to.
