Stephanie's Bakery Stand

Now free with qualifying Friends purchases from LEGO.com/shop and LEGO brand stores is set 30113, Stephanie's Bakery Stand. I've not seen this set mentioned anywhere else before.

This offer is valid from 27 December, 2013 through to 31 January, 2014, or while stocks last. Offer valid for shoppers in Europe, Australia and New Zealand only.

Neat. Someone mentioned this promo in the comments a few days ago. It's great to see the picture; it's a fun little scene, and Stephanie's shirt is nice.

A printed cookie, strawberry, pretzel and new frosting / soft serve ice cream piece. Nice little set.

So what constitutes a qualifying purchase? I don't see anything on the online store about this yet.

No mention of it at the shop at home site in the US yet that I can see.

would that include the lego store in disney?

This offer appears inside the new LEGO January - June catalogue which was delivered today in the UK. It suggests that the set comes free with any LEGO Friends purchase and no cost threshold is listed.

No threshold would be amazing. Maybe I'll pick up one of the animal sets when I go fill my holiday PAB box.

I picked one up today in Milton Keynes. It is free with any Friends purchase.

Looking on the Lego Stores webpage, this might only be in EU. NA seems to have a Police ATV free with $50 purchase. All the EU countries have the Friends poly shown as the promo. Sigh....

By in United States,

Just what the US needs, more police polybags. lol

I have a feeling we will see it. In the UK Captain Rex says it's January to June when in the USA we get a different free set every month.

I don't live near a store but I'd go just to buy a penguin and get this cool little set free.

By in Italy,

I placed an online order today; I tried a few times and any Friends set qualified for the gift.

We don't have LEGO Brand Stores here in Australia, but S@H says; 'Once your LEGO® Friends order reaches $100, your free LEGO® Friends Stephanie’s Bakery Stand will be automatically added to your shopping bag. Available only through LEGO.com/shop.'.

I just tried adding one of the smallest/cheapest Friends Animal sets (i.e. $5.99 AUD) to my cart, and it automatically added the free bakery stand, so it looks like it's as other have said above, and it's actually just any Friends purchase, which makes the website's spiel a bit misleading.

It's a shame they then want to charge me $25.00 for shipping on such a tiny order, so I'd be better off adding other (not necessarily Friends) sets from my wishlist to reach the free shipping threshold ($150.00 AUD), or just trying to get the bakery stand on ebay, etc.

Now if it was available in the US in Feb, I'd be sweet, as I could pick one up at the Brand Store in Hawaii when I'm on holidays (vacation) over there! ;-)

Really hope this offer comes to Canada, looks like another great Friends Polybag.

By in Germany,

Does anyone know if there are other promotions upcoming in January? I kind of want to order the new Maersk ship...

By in United Kingdom,

This is a great promo to start off the year but I'm really hoping there is to be another for spending over £50 or something like The LEGO Movie posters which are in the US. Hoping to pick up PR and curiosity rover...

I tried getting this set in the Raleigh NC Lego Store today, but they had never heard of it. SO I don't think it was available there yesterday the 27th. It looks like a cute set.

The store had been cleaned out of all their new Friends' and older Architecture sets by folks bearing gift cards they said. Their inventory really was low.

Will try again after Monday's shipment arrives there.

@Nikaliptus: Just remember, unless you have space in your bag, getting the Ala Moana Center to ship to Australia will be rather expensive and not worth it. Well that was my experience last year anyway. Either way, have a great trip, best holiday ever for me there. (I admit, I went when the Australian dollar was much more favorable ;))

I'm a little annoyed though, I did an order Thursday night and could have gotten a friends set but I was put off by the banner saying I had to spend a $100 on friends sets to qualify.

^ Thanks for the warning @sixpax; this will be my third trip in as many years, so I've learned to allow room in my luggage, lol. I usually only stock up on the smaller sets/polybags/PaB, etc. that's harder to come by in Aus, although if they were still offering the LEGO Movie poster sticker with the purchase of Palace Cinema, I might be tempted to try to lug it home with me, lol.

Back on topic; if they had the Friends bakery stand free with any Friends purchase in the US in Feb, I'd be all over it & just grab an animal set, or even one of the $15.99 AUD sets (e.g. Mia's Lemonade Stand) to qualify. Agree with you tho; I was put off by the $100 minimum spend the website was stipulating, as that would pretty much blow my Friends budget for this wave, which is very misleading, given it seems any Friends order will qualify. Still optimistic for more of those 20% off sales we've had at Target, Myer, etc. of late to pick up most of my new wave wishlist, so try to only use S@H for Modulars, PaB, & free polybag, etc. offers that are just too good to refuse...oh for them to open a few brand stores in Aus...sigh.

Just spoke with lego at home in the us and they said no plans for this to be a promo in the us.

In case anyone in the US is still looking for this set, check the Easter section of your local Target– that's where I found one.
