Most recent set I got this piece in: 43203 aurora, Merida and tiana’s enchanted creations
Looks like we've reached rock bottom.
*Not used as the lower part of rocks
Those transparent dress minidolls are incredibly cursed. From this part being used for an umbrella with a lighsaber blade for a handle - (if you connect the umbrella to the dress half, that stick will be going in an inappropriate place) to suggesting you store the head and torso by stuffing it up the skirt, this sure is some Elsagate stuff.
Edit: It's worse, some of them have the skirt conceal a gem piece. I mean... technically marriage to a princess brings wealth, but, ick... Either way, I hate this piece and what it stands for. You should be able to read between the lines and understand why.
Except its usage in the moon base. That's cool.

"yes, but what genre is it?"
Looks pretty sparkly... I'd say 1980s.
I kind of love this piece for the bizarre gimmick it's a part of. Like, I want to see a Barbie commercial cheerily explain how much fun girls will have hiding Barbie's upper body in her dress.
Personally, I'd like to know how to effectively mount the combined piece, via the mini-doll torso connection on the other half's end. They make such nice "mystical crystal"-type objects. But I have no idea how to make them stand upright sans suspending them from above via the part featured here.
Any tips, or articles to read, would make my day. I've had no luck searching on my own, so far.
...It is also 1 in the morning, so I apologize if anything I wrote only makes sense to my sleep deprived brain.
So you guys are telling me that it’s called “Rock Lower Part” but has only actually been used as a rock part once, and the rest of the time is part of some bizarre princess cocoon arrangement?
…‘kay…
Another part name whose name is more interesting if read as an instruction
I'm not that familiar with the part and the image is only vaguely telling me what it actually is.
Great image. 10/10 clarity
Oh, it's the bottom part of a 'dress'. Sure. I could totally make that out from this angle.
@Spritetoggle:
You can mount the torso on a bar, but I'm not currently aware of any way to connect the hip post to anything besides a minidoll torso.
@Binnekamp:
Yes, it's the part that goes where your feet would otherwise normally contact the ground.
Those lower parts really rock…?

Join princess barbie on an adventure with her princess friends on the royal carriage but oh no! Theres not enough headroom. Remove barbie and friends torsos from their whalebone dresses and store them within.Now you can go anywhere!
