A little frustrating sometimes that the sets you want aren't specially reduced. The K mart sale is quite poor IMHO - in fact, something's up with K mart this year as far as Lego is concerned. Usually, it has regular 15% off Lego sales, and at other times, there have been BOGO 50% but I haven't seen that once this year (unless it was in January).

The Big W sale doesn't really offer much either, unless you want the passenger train but at $174, it's still asking a fair bit. Been waiting for the Clone Turbo Tank to drop in price - with the 20% off at Target, it's still $192 which is WAY too much considering that you can get it for $120 in the U.S. and our dollar is on par with theirs.

The Myer sale is good if you want to start your HP collection - again though, the variety is limited. I've been kicking myself for not picking up the Clone Turbo Tank and King's Castle a few weeks back when Myer had a "get $25 off every $75 you spend" promotion as I was too focused on getting The Burrow, Hogwarts Express and Hogwarts Castle and have been hoping that something similar might come around, but not to be!

By in New Zealand,

The City Advent Calendar Set 2824 becomes AUD 39.20 at Target after the 20% is deducted. The Shop-at-Home price is AUD 29.99 which has got to be a mistake. Suggest you get in quick before LEGO realize they have made an error!

Myer has a four day sale (until Sunday the 14th) where you buy two toys and get a third of equal or lesser value for free. It can't be used in conjunction with other offers. I'm not sure how widespread it is, but it's certainly available in the Geelong Myer.

That always happens. Seems like they reduce the unpopular sets rather than those in high demand.
