LEGOshop.com Black Friday deals

Posted by ,

LEGO is running several offers over the Black Friday weekend (26-29th Nov), starting with free Shipping on orders of $49 or more and 10% off orders of $149 or more in the USA and Canada. In addition, there will be daily sales on selected sets on each of these days: check back on Friday to find out more!

Here in the UK, we are not being left out: we have free shipping on orders over £49 until 12 December.

I'm told that: No Code Necessary - Qualifying orders will automatically receive free delivery at checkout.

Free Shipping! not exactly much of an incentive. I don't see why they didn't do the 10,20 and 50% scratch cards on the 5th November in Lego stores like they did last year. Oh well I land in LA on the 29th. Will have to hit a TRU or something : )

so if you buy somthing for $150 you will get free shipping and 10% off? Hmm not much of a discount

Shame they didnt do some black friday deals on the advent calenders. So overpriced this year and trying to find the Kingdoms calendar anywhere for less than close on £30 is proving a nightmare!

Any chance they will copy Amazon and bring this to the UK Store too?

@mrwhizzard, wait until the January Lego sale, I'll bet the advent calendars are half price then, they were last year. You can then use them next December! Admittedly this doesn't help if you wanted to open them this December of course!

@jonboy2000 The 10%, 20% and 50% scratch cards are in store on Sunday 5th December this year I believe.

Oh wow...10% off $149.00? Reminds me of that Target sale in which all Legos were 1% off, remember? Anyways, 10% off 149$ is kinda lame.

Target had a coupon in their sale paper on Sunday for 5$ off any 15$ lego set purchase. Plo Koon's fighter was on sale for 19$, plus the 5$ off gave me the set for 14$. Not bad. The coupons are good through Today.

By the way it appears as if the Hary Potter sets are becoming hard to come by, at least in Target and Toys R Us around me.

Also, toys R Us had sent out a 10$ off coupon for any lego purchase over 50$ for today for rewards members(no restrictions!!!! a.k.a. good on Star Wars/Harry Potter sets).

Thanks for the info iso3200. It's always hard to find a UK lego store calendar on-line in advance and the 1 on the lego website is usually about a month out of date! Too bad I will be away until the 6th! : (

@legobob: Yeah when you think about it 10% basically covers the sales tax in most places.
But I am hoping some other sets will go on sale, like the Farm, and other sets due to retire where they want to clear out stock on them.

I'll definatly take advantage of the free shipping! I'll buy the Winter Village Bakery and all the Christmas promo's.

This seems to be about as generous as TLG is going to get, and I'm surprised they even have 2 discounts that stack. Sure enough both advent calendars and Green Grocer are all sold out online. So much for using a discount on any of them.

@sinfanti: Green Grocer's been Sold out online for about a week now. They are done making them.
At least you could get a grand emporium

I totally got a City Advent Calendar for $20 with the 50% off coupon. And I got the Lego creator car set at Target for $12 after the coupon. Still going to Lego store on Friday!!!

What time do the Lego on-line sales begin in the USA? Midnight EST, etc...?

By in United States,

A number of sales are already up online. 47 different items are on sale right now. We will have to see what comes up later.

@AZFIREWOLF: I think Farmer_John is asking when the GOOD stuff goes up for sale at Lego :-)
My guess is it will be at 12am EST

Although I think most of the items that go on a bigger sale than 10% (if any) will be those items that they want out of their warehouse, as they have done in a lot of their previous sales.
So I am thinking that the holiday toy shoppe and the Village bakery sets may been more that 10% off (here's to hoping :-) )

Don't you all know that Black Friday is nothing more than all the retailers clearing out all the crud they couldn't get rid of during the rest of the year. Otherwise you would see newer stuff discounted. Personally I will be sleeping in, then going to the Legostore praying for the 50% off scratcher.

Starfire2 - odds are if you are not at the store before the 4hr mark passes after they are opened you will not have a snowball chance in hell of getting a 50% off scratcher. I remember last year the store was out of scratchers by 4am.

Target has the Trolls' Mountain Fortress and Galatic Enforcer for $64.99 USD while supplies last. Talk about a great deal! (no sarcasm)

@azfirewolf : actually I showed up at the Lego store in Chandler last year around 9am and they still had a stack full. So, I'm not worried.

Wow, Lego had the Technic Front Loader at about $48 dollars, and less if your cart hit 149, an additional 10% and free shipping. The Front loader is already Sold out

The Wind Tunnel Transport is also on sale for about 36 dollars.

JUST got back from the LEGO Store Queens Center Mall(it's like 1:30am now). A line of about 15 people I'd say where there waiting. I got there like 5 to midnight.

I only got a 10% Scratch card but it helped with the tax.

I picked up a couple of the Pharoah sets (Scarab Attack, Golden Staff Guardians, Flying Mummy Attack, and Cursed Cobra Statue). They look very cool(but like $10 bucks overpriced on some of them). Gonna' be my new Indy Mod's and Moc's. They sold out of the small Scarab Attack and didn't see any Mysterious Sphinx kits.

I picked up a Slave I and a very cool Creator Rescue Robot set with Light Brick. This set is only $17 bucks, which is fair price for 149 pieces and a light brick.
Plus a couple of smaller racer sets they had on sale (like 30% off)and Xmas sets as stocking stuffers for my kid and nephews.
Oh, plus I got that Lego Universe Rocket Ship. You don't have to buy the online game to get it. I think the only thing you get now if you sign up for the game is that exclusive figure. I might try to get it via BrickLink. I think the game is like 50% off on LEGO.com?

Just got back from the Arrowhead mall. Got a $10 gift card for being one of 2000 in line at the midnight madness. We were 286/287/288 in line. Not bad for getting there at 9:30pm. Went straight to the Legostore right after. Only got a 10% scratcher, so did my son and hubby. They had already given out 2 50% scratchers before we got there. And we were there 5 minutes after opening. Oh well better luck next time.

How did you get those 2011 sets?! I searched Wal-Mart, Target, Toys "R" Us...none of them have the T-6 Jedi Shuttle or the Halo!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Only the Pharoah's Quest (2011) sets are available at TRU and Lego stores, no Star Wars yet.
