BrickList: Classic Castle - the fourth cycle
Classic Castle - the fourth cycle
The fourth cycle was a simple cycle in the mid 90s. Lego was beginning to shorten the cycle duration right about now, and the fourth cycle only lasted for about 2 years spanning 1995 and 1996. The cycle had the Royal Knights as the main focus and the Dark Forest as the Forestmen replacement.

11. 6079: Dark Forest Fortress
The largest of the Dark Forest sets, this set was impressive. However, the 3 Dark Forest sets produced in 1996 were also the only 3 sets ever produced for the Dark Forest and makes it the smallest subtheme in classic castle.
