BrickList: The Ultimate LEGO Universe Factions Guide Part 4: Pirates

The Ultimate LEGO Universe Factions Guide Part 4: Pirates

One of my all time favorite Themes, the Pirates are some of the best sets LEGO has to offer. Once again we are working on the assumption that this BrickList is a glimpse into a potential combination display/faction/fiction type of deal, just as my other BrickLists are.

This one shouldn't be too long in the making. Hopefully you'll enjoy it all, once we finish with Pirates before I do Licensed Themes I was figuring on going back to add some Classic Era Space Sets to my Space BrickList.

Avast me hearties, time to join forces with Captain Red Beard or perhaps you'd be more at home with Renegade Captain Ironhook's crew? Step now into the Realm of LEGO Pirates.

1. 6289: Red Beard Runner

Captain Red Beard, the most notorious Pirate to sail the seven LEGO seas, his fleet of pirate ships and scurvy crew are the bane of the Imperial Soldiers existence. They are the most armed and most prepared crew of pirates off the Western seaboard.

Traveling through the spanish manes Red Beard recruited more villainous crew for his armada of sailing vessels, of which the Red Beard Runner is the flagship. Though not as large as the Black Seas Barracuda, the Red Beard Runner is fast, faster than most Imperial Navy vessels. Red Beard himself is a scurvy dog what takes no lip from no-one, he lost his hand in his first major battle against Governor Broadside and has been seeking vengence for the slight ever since.

8. 6278: Enchanted Island

Enchanted Island is home to a group of natives called the Islanders by outsiders as the name they call themselves is unpronounceable. Dotting a chain of tropical islands the Islanders have called this region home for countless generations.

Ruled by King Kahuka, a benevolent ruler and noble monarch, the Islanders have taken up arms against the nefarious Captain Red Beard and his renegade brother Captain Ironhook.

Cheap labor is the main reason for why these two pirate captains fight to capture the Islanders, unfortuantely for the pirates this group of Islanders have somehow managed to tame Crocodiles and use them as lethal enforcers.

17. 6242: Soldiers' Fort

The Imperial Soldiers' Fort is a vast improvement over the former Governor Broadside's Eldorado Fortress, incorporating its own jail and defensive cannons the Soldiers' Fort stands ready to aid the Imperial Flagship in pummeling Brickbeard's Bounty mercilessly.

The battle for LEGO Pirate Realm has only just begun...

And there we have it, another BrickList down and only two more to go, Licensed Themes and then my own special take on the Ultimate LEGO Universe Town/City Guide. I hope you've enjoyed this one, it may not have as much as some of my other BrickLists, by way of sets or backstories, but it is still done with loving care.

Now if I can only just get some of these Pirate ships for my own collection, I'd settle for Brickbeard's Bounty and the Imperial Flagship only at this point... Gotta save up for them I guess.
