I built the original sketch model. Final set designer, and all the really hard work, by Raphael P. I also hand painted ALL of the dinosaurs, this was used as the basis for the final decoration, I kind of accidentally created the new olive colour with these paint jobs, pretty cool!

36. 9456: Spinner Battle Arena
The original sketch was by Soren D. my challenge was to make it buildable and on price. It's a weird set and the spinners ate a lot of the budget, but i tried to include a lot of cool elements in interesting colours. Hopefully it's well received.

37. 9455: Fangpyre Mech
Yes, I know the legs are too straight and it looks a bit odd, but every time I changed them to add a bend (either forwards or backwards) this looked like a Dinosaur - try it, promise you it'll look like a Dino! As the brief was a SNAKE Mecha I had to find a way to keep the snake appearance to it, thus the spindly arms and legs! Hope you like it anyway.

39. 9448: Samurai Mech
I make a lot of Mechs for LEGO themes and so far this is the best one! It's a bit steam-punk, a bit high-tech and the biggest mech I've done too. I also included a lot of new parts, hopefully it'll be well liked.

This final (very awesome) set is by Adrian Florea but it's from my sketch model and I came up with the name Garmatron before we even started to build (bit of a Blacktron homage for my fellow spacers)!

42. 70505: Temple of Light
It was tough to make what was the final set of the Ninjago theme at this price point - the mech is a companion model to the 9448 Samurai Mech and I can't decide which is best. I guess I'll leave that up to you, write a review, I read them all. I'm pretty happy with the Temple too. But I'm really glad there will be more Ninjago - it deserves a bigger bang then this to go out on!

43. 70003: Eris' Eagle Interceptor
A fun model to work on - lots of difficulty getting the wings right and trying to make the head eject smoothly (a slight sideways twist works best) and of course what to do with Eris' wings when she is in the cockpit? However, I think the end result looks pretty cool.

44. 70006: Cragger’s Command Ship
I wanted "floats on water" on one of my boxes and it didn't happen! Too much room taken by the cool character pictures... oh well - it DOES float on water! Lots of new olive green with this, some funky waterproof stickers and Craggers sister: how cool is Crooller!

45. 70013: Equila's Ultra Striker
Set Designer on this was LEGO Legend Torben (25 years a designer and the creator of LEGO Octan and more awesome sets then he can remember)! However he stuck very close to my sketch model so I'm putting on here! I loved the idea of a swept forward wing position attack tank and that's what Torben managed to do, I think I might be happier with this then Eris' Interceptor!

46. 70100: Ring of Fire
I only did one of the LEGO Speedorz sets (as you can see I was quite busy with other Chima and Ninjago sets) but I did make a very nice colour change to make the ring of fire and I love the unpredictable way the Speedor acts when it hits this high edged ramp - it flips, it rolls, it flies over the ring entirely - you need a bit of practice and some skill to get it through every time and hopefully it will help develop Speedorz skills so you can win against your friends!
