The highly anticipated LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga video game has started its release wave in North America today! Those in the UK unfortunately have to wait until this Friday, as far as I can tell, that is still the release date. The game combines the first two LEGO Star Wars games, and also adds new features and characters, so even if you have the first two, this one is still worth picking up. LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga is available for Nintendo DS, Wii, PS3, and Xbox 360.

There's been rumours of large-scale vehicles designed/suggested by fans for some time. A Volkswagen enthusiasts website has news and a picture of a VW Beetle due to be released in summer 2008. Not only does the design look pretty cool, it's made from dark blue bricks!

Eurobricks has a nice picture of the new police station (7744) which was found in a toy shop in Holland. Like we really need another one...
They are also listing several new Indiana Jones, city and Mars Mission sets.

Several correspondents have reported that Toys R Us in the USA have started stocking 2008 sets, including the Exo-Force ones, so if you're near one, go and check it out!
The appearance of new sets after Thanksgiving has been the norm for as long as I can remember. Unfortunately we in the UK have to wait until January before we see them although sometimes S@H lists them just before Christmas. Just after the last posting date for them to arrive for Christmas, usually :-)

While looking at the back of one of the new Mars Mission sets for 2008, I noticed that 7693 ETX Alien Strike and 7694 MT-31 Trike were not listed with the rest of the theme on the list advertising the rest of the theme, being replaced by 7647 MX-41 Switch Fighter and 7648 MT-101 Mobile Mining Unit. This probably means that these sets are, or soon will be, discontinued. Interestingly, on the UK S@H site, 7693 ETX Alien Strike is not even listed. Better grab these sets while you can!

The new EXO-FORCE: Deep Jungle sets are listed on the official EXO-FORCE website, on the Products page. They are not on S@H yet, but we will keep you posted.

The LEGO Factory Hobby Train, designed by LEGO AFOL's is half off at S@H. It is currently on backorder, but with a sale like this, it probably won't be long before it is sold out for good.
