Well I know Walmart.com has at least $50 off their AT-OT and Dropship set... making it $199 US.
Walmart.com usually has a few other good deals (updated daily), so lucky for Americans.

Posted by starfire2 in United States, 10 Dec 2010 18:01

Also Huw at TRU this friday and saturday, they are doing their 2 day doorbuster deals. 50% off Lego Bionicles!!

Posted by yellowcastle in United States, 10 Dec 2010 18:41

Added! :o)

Posted by natro220 in United States, 10 Dec 2010 19:58

Glad I held out on the $30 passenger plane, got the $27 one! Picked up the Wompa Cave too! Thanks for the heads up, yellowcastle!

Posted by LobsterWarrior in United States, 10 Dec 2010 20:10

Perfect timing too! As im getting about 50$ on Saturday.

Posted by The_Box in United States, 10 Dec 2010 20:17

This gave me incentive to get Geteway of the Squid. its a great piece to price ratio now!
by the way, while I was at Target I saw no Harry Potter sets at all. Anyone else seeing this?

Posted by knuclear200x in United States, 10 Dec 2010 20:34

I cant remember the last time target had a BOGO 50% that wasnt a coupon...also...does brickset have the USB in the database yet?

Posted by Nickds in United States, 10 Dec 2010 21:38

I have not seen anyone post it yet but at TRU on 12/11 between 12-2pm there is a Ninjago event. Demostrations, prizes and activities.

Posted by starfire2 in United States, 10 Dec 2010 21:54

Yeah, I saw that too. I am going with my sons. You get to make a sword stand/holder out of lego's and you get a head band (that ties in the back) and a sticker.

Posted by voypro in United States, 10 Dec 2010 22:43

I am wondering if the TRU "Receive a Stormtrooper Polybag (30005) set w/ $30 purchase" was what TRU was SUPPOSED to do with the 30005 polybags; instead of just sell them. I have a ton of them that my TRU forced me to by one per day starting a few weeks ago. They finally put out the remains of the case on the shelve. (about 13 which when I found.. I bought. )

Posted by voypro in United States, 10 Dec 2010 22:47

RE: Target Harry Potter - Not so much as one dirty Dobby sock at mine. This might have to do with them doing instant substitutions on sale items; they did the Hoggartwarts castle for $90 to substitute for the Kingdoms Castle they had on sale for $69. (the discount via a % system on substitutions.)

Posted by dehnehsu in United States, 11 Dec 2010 01:33

I know the Target sale ends Saturday but the Boba Fett Slave 1 (8097) is on sale for $67.99 and if you were lucky enought to get a $10.00 off (The Slave or Fire Station) Target coupon they sent thru the mail to some households. the total was only $57.99 Not bad for a kit that retails for $79.99

Posted by brickupdate in United States, 11 Dec 2010 07:02

TRU must have a large stock of the 30005 Stormtrooper polybags to be giving out one with each $30 LEGO purchase. Even though there were much better LEGO sales there the past few weeks, in the runup to Christmas, parents/grandparents are just buying what they need. I stopped by TRU yesterday midday, and it was packed. Not weekend-packed, but very very busy none-the-less.

yellowcastle - EXCELLENT job each week with the sales updates! I check Brickset each time I log on the computer but your updates are must reads each time. Saves us money and helps us add to our LEGO collection. Thank you!!!

Posted by Farmer_John in United States, 11 Dec 2010 09:50

I agree with the previous post...Brickset is a must read!

TRU does have a wide selection, but it is probably my least favorite place to buy Legos. They jack up their prices and then mark them back to normal with their sales. Amazon, Wal-Mart and Target have much better sales!

Posted by beth2112 in United States, 11 Dec 2010 10:39

BOGO 50% back on at Amazon.com. Same sets available as earlier.

My Walmart also cut their Midi-Scale Star-Destroyer to $32

Posted by Ypres in Canada, 11 Dec 2010 14:16

I seriously suggest you Americans check out Walmart.com!!! Further markdowns have been applied!

For the Pacific Northwest people.... Fred Meyer has a today (12/11/10) only sale on LEGOs. There is a printable coupon on their website, www.fredmeyer.com. It is for 30% off all LEGOs. They also have the Set 8088, ARC-170 Starfighter marked down to $41.99 plus an additional 30% off. It takes it down to under $30 per Starfighter! Sorry for the late notice. I saw the coupon when I was looking for minifigures :)

ToysRUS website has the new Star Wars Sets!!!! (US)

They look like they are at the standard retail price

Madison, WI TRU

12/11/10- I found, while attending the NinjaGo event (picking up freebies!), 5 cases of Series 3 minifigs. I spent at least two hours sorting through the figs until finding all sixteen- no duplicates! Even one of the staff seemed to get involved in the "fig frenzy", using his break time to plunder the cases for a complete set for his brother. For anyone in the Madison area (or southern WI), there are still cases left.

@ Huw- I noticed that the NinjaGo promotional (2855916) is not in the database. Please add it if you have the time.

Any ideas on this ninjago set? Way overpriced though...

@Sword2211: This was the NinjaGo set on display at the TRU event. This may have been given away as a contest prize, which accounts for its high price.

Posted by Sword2211 in United States, 11 Dec 2010 22:41

@Uno Brick - That seems like a big set to give away. But I wasn't there so I don't know.

Posted by starfire2 in United States, 12 Dec 2010 01:13

The representative at our Ninjago event was a bafoon to be nice. She showed up an hour late to start with. Then another parent was handing out the promo sets and headbands and stickers. She didn't know how to play the game or how much any of the stuff would retail for. Worst event I've been to. I could have done 100% better.

Check this out: http://www.walmart.com/ip/LEGO-3/14906002 a really good deal if you missed out on POP.
EDIT: You can buy LSW3 on Walmart.com, too!

Posted by starfire2 in United States, 12 Dec 2010 13:26

@pepper: are you sure about Lego star wars? I didn't see anything new on their website. Nothing on series 3 either if that was what you meant?

Posted by theparkgrades in United States, 12 Dec 2010 18:57

Prince of Persia sets, particularly Quest Against Time, are significantly discounted on Amazon (US) right now. Just picked up a few of each.

Posted by POldTim in United States, 13 Dec 2010 01:35

I'm not sure if anyone else has listed this or not, but on LSH set 8049 (Tractor with Log Loader) is on sale too. As is set 5691 (Space Crane), 5633 (Polar Zoo), and set 7591 (Construct-A-Zurg).
