The ultimate way to determine collectable minifig pack contents

I received an email from tayweijin in Australia today. It seems that the figs are becoming available around the world now, although none yet in the UK. He confirmed that the box contents are as follows, based on analysis of 2 boxes:
- 5 per case - Sumo Wrestler, Alien, Mummy, Race Car Driver
- 4 per case - Pilot, Samurai, Gorilla, Baseball Player, Tennis Player
- 3 per case - Indian, Elf Bowman, Cyborg, Rapper, SnowBoarder, Hula Girl
- 2 per case - Fisherman
What really made me chuckle was how he found out: "I used a dental digital X-Ray to confirm the packs - I work in a dental surgery so was fortunate to be able to use this method." That has to be the ultimate way to find out what's inside! Shame there's not a portable x-ray machine you can take into TRU with you :-)
He goes on to say "The crib sheet is very unreliable - the heights of the 'raised dots' are not always consistent, and sometimes there are 'glue tracks' going across the same areas as the 'raised dots'. Some 'dots' are also extremely faint and ambiguous."
How have you found the dots? Are they readable in the shop?
