Good Deals! I'll be sure to check them out!

Since both of my local stores are horrible at putting up sale signs, there's a good chance these will be there this weekend. Thanks for the heads-up!

THANK YOU YELLOWCASTLE for this update!!! Picked up 2 Endor sets....
Also there is a coupon floating around online to take 5 dollars of a purchase of 50 or more, not much but it helps take some off the tax!!!
But you have to find a coupon site and browse to the link in the coupon to get the 5 off of 50, but it works..
Did it with the Venators last night, did it with the Endor sets today...
I used two different coupon sites so I know multiple have it

UPDATE: Actually the site I went to has a 7 off of 70 (if you buy that much) coupon. I am not sure if the admins of the site want me to put a URL here so I will just say search online for a Target ecoupon for 7 dollars off and you should find it

These all seem like really great deals (especially for the Battle of Endor and Galactic Enforcer, which are both aproxomatly $30 off). I may ask for a few more Echo Base's and Corporate Alliance Tank Droids since both are $17.49 instead of $24.99. I suggest make use of this sale and tell people to return Lego sets on this list and buy different ones not on this list.

I.E. You've bought an Echo Base set for your son for Christmas, so you buy him another one during this sale. Then when the sale ends you return the first Echo Base set you bought and go and buy Plo Koon's Starfighter. You would have then basically made Plo Koon's Starfighter $17.49, while paying $24.99 for the Echo Base set. You would then pay $42.48 (plus tax) instead of paying $49.98 (plus tax).

Target also gives you 5% off if you use your "red card"...which doesn't have to be a credit card. I have a debit Red Card that just deducts directly from my checking account. I love to see my purchase price, then I get to see MY price when the 5% comes off. I highly recommend it! 5% isn't a lot, but in combination with all the other deals (the $5 off coupon that was in their Christmas book, and this new Lego deal) the discounts add up fast!

@Jarod - AAT still available online, $34.22; Buzz's Star Command Spaceship Thingamajiggy still available online, $20.99.

Posted by Jarod98 in United Kingdom, 17 Dec 2010 12:08

@yellowcastle - When i look up their names they didn't show up, thanks for telling me though. :)

Lavatraz for 28 and lunar limo for 22.4 are great steals, good figures at less than 0.10CPP, will be considering a second endor, that price is just too good

I figured there would be more people decrying the loss of Power Miners, Space Police, Toy Story, and Prince of Persia by now... :o)

@Jarod98: Target's search engine is kinda iffy at times....

Posted by chantastic in United States, 17 Dec 2010 12:46

Is this online only or is it also in-store?

Posted by yellowcastle in United States, 17 Dec 2010 12:51

@chantastic - As most of these prices were not advertised, it's probably online only.

Posted by beefygrefe in United States, 17 Dec 2010 12:55

@ Yellowcastle - I would be happy to sing the sorrows of losing the great lines of Power Miners and Space Police but given the way the life cycles work at Lego, I'm sure we'll see them reincarnated in some form in the next 3-10 years...especially with as popular as they were...I'm a patient man so long as we're not talking about collectible minis.

OH, and thanks for the heads up on the sales. Props.

Posted by MiniFever in United States, 17 Dec 2010 13:32

the sale is not for in-store? :/

Posted by yellowcastle in United States, 17 Dec 2010 13:50

@MiniFever - the advertised sale this week is Buy One, Get One 50% Off World Racers and Prince of Persia. While some of these discounts online may be honored in store, I can't say for certain that that will be the story at every store. I can tell you that I've seen many sets in my Targets marked down yet still full price online and vice versa. All in all, your best bet is online anyway because you can probably garner free shipping and Lego aisles are likely becoming pretty bare as we're only a week out from Christmas...

Well my parents get back from San Diego tonight (with bags full of lego). So maybe if everything of interest is still in stock I can get some stuff sent to my aunt. I must say, it is a rather nice sale. Thanks.

Posted by talorien in United States, 17 Dec 2010 14:38

I was able to get Slave 1 in the Target store for 67.99. I thought that was pretty good.

Posted by AZFIREWOLF in United States, 17 Dec 2010 15:24

This is a great deal. A great way to stock up on pieces and such. I went into my local store and could not find anyone that knew about the sale. I wonder if it is just an online sale.

Posted by MCNwakeboard in United Kingdom, 17 Dec 2010 16:40

sorry, a little late for everyone, if you use code H6GUONV5, you can get $5 off $50 purchase.

Posted by madforLEGO in United States, 17 Dec 2010 17:19

There are ecoupon websites that have links to get 7 dollars off if you spend over 70 as well.

Posted by bmwlego in United States, 18 Dec 2010 04:36

@AZFIREWOLF - Us Bricksetters usually know more about LEGO sales than the employees! Just go straight for the price scanner and you'll get your answer! Saw Build a Zurg at Wal-Mart last night for $15. Pretty good deal but it still only has 117 parts. With all of the money I've spent on LEGO this past month at TRU and the LEGO Store I had to pass up on the Zurg.

@yellowcastle - As for the themes that are being removed from the LEGO line of products, I'm thankful for lime parts from Power Miners as well as dark flesh parts from PoP, and the cool figs from both TS and Space Police. I will miss SP most of all as some of the part usage reminded me of my childhood Classic Space sets.

Great deals to be had at Target (as usual).

It is with great sadness and joy that I have to inform the site that The Battle of Endor is sold out at Target. The joy part is that my order got fulfilled. :)

You can get a special 10% savings coupon if you are a first time buyer at diapers.com. Oddly enough they were just bought by Amazon.

Posted by LobsterWarrior in United States, 18 Dec 2010 14:40

Please tell us how long the sale is! I got a lot of money in my hands, so maybe I can buy Lavatraz.

Posted by dehnehsu in United States, 20 Dec 2010 01:38

The Target prices are online only. I scanned the Tie Defender (8087) at our local Target and it came up $49.99. Online it's $34.99 and the total with tax and shipping would be around $44 here in California. I checked Amazon and it's selling for only $39 with free shipping!
