With the start of the New Year, it's time to start thinking about the upcoming events season. This year things are off to a flying start with two major events in the next couple of weeks.

First up, we have the 'Bricks Adventure 2011' exhibition, running 12th-21st January at the City University of Hong Kong. Details can be found here.

Secondly, we have 'Brickvention 2011', running over the weekend of 15th & 16th January at Melbourne Town Hall in Victoria, Australia. The first day, Saturday 15th, is an AFOL fan convention day and the Sunday is a public exhibition. Details can be found here.

If you've never been to a fan-run LEGO event, we'd highly recommend you give one a go. There are plenty throughout the year, spread around the world, so look out for more event announcements as we go through the year!

Hey Bluemoose great to see some Australian news at last. Thanks for the update they've been pretty light on of late.
People may also be interested in the On the Loose Lego display happening in Sydney at the Aquarium and Wildlife park. A master builders display of sorts which we don't see very often down here. Hi, thanks for introducing the Brick Adventure 2011, our show in Hong Kong.

To clarify, our show would be held at City University of Hong Kong (not the University of Hong Kong - we have a few universities with names pretty close to one another...), which is at Kolwoon Tong on the Kowloon side (not on the Hong Kong Island side).
