While I wasn't surprised to find the new AT-ST (30054) in the Easter section at my local Target, I also stumbled across Dragon Fight (30083), a really neat Ninjago polybag.  As is usual, each set was $3.99.  Additionally, they had a bin set up for a polybag entitled "Fireman" with a price of $3.49.  Any idea what that might be?  Up front at the registers, they were still selling the Toy Story Army Jeep (30071), the Fire Helicopter (4900), and the Atlantis Mini Sub (30042).

Update: The Ninjago Dragon Fight polybag was actually only $3.49 and the 3rd placeholder was just for the older Fire Chief polybag (30010).

Maybe it's just the angle of the photo, but the dragon looks a bit like a giant chicken! Still, I'll have to pick up one of these for myself and maybe some for my nephews.

Out of curiosity, is the AT-ST the only Star Wars Easter poly bag set? Isn't there usually two of them?

Is there (at least) a space for S4 minifigs? Went to nearby Target but no Easter section....grrrr.....

Posted by yellowcastle in United States, 06 Mar 2011 01:11

I did not see a place holder for any other Lego sets but you never know. And at least for the first 3 minifigure series, TRU seemed to get them first, at least for a couple of weeks. That could change, but I'd keep my eye on Toys R Us first. I think Target is more than happy to proceed with just the polybags and they only just had the S3 minifigures for Valentine's Day.

I saw the fireman one. I think its simmilar to the mini police boat where its a fireboat thing. For working at the lego store I don't know much about product other places.

lol that dragon looks like it has no eyes but it still looks cool

Did you see the Jay polybag? I wanted that one the most.

Posted by Toa Of Justice in United States, 06 Mar 2011 10:18

In addition to the Fire Helicopter and the Army Jeep, I also saw a few copies of the Kingdoms Target Practice (30062) in my local Target's checkout lanes. (LOL!)

Darn, I hoped the Ninjago ones would be Daily Mirror promos. I'll have to order them on BrickLink now...

Posted by yellowcastle in United States, 06 Mar 2011 10:32

@ Toa Of Justice- What part of the country are you, if I may ask? I have still never seen those 2 Kingdoms polybags and that bums me a lot. My area (Northern Va) is awash with fire helos and army jeeps.

Posted by TooMuchLEGO in United States, 06 Mar 2011 10:37

As have I, yellowcastle. Tons of Fire Helis and Jeeps, but no Kingdoms. :-(

Hmmm, Only 1 Ninjago polybag? That's a shame, I do like the one with Jay, but the Dragon one is my second favorite, and I needed to go to Target today for some shopping anyway, so maybe this is a good hance to get them.

Polybag in Easter Section?!?!?! We all know what that means.. 75% off after Easter!!! A-W-E-S-O-M-E !!!

Posted by TooMuchLEGO in United States, 06 Mar 2011 13:07

@Super12 = That never occurred to me...know where I'm going after Easter.

Posted by refriedbeans in United States, 06 Mar 2011 16:07

No easter yet in PA. But I did finally find the Kingdoms set!

Posted by Bee815 in United States, 06 Mar 2011 19:37

I've seen all but Easter and Ninjago. I actually want the Ninjago sets though...

@refriedbeans - You found the Kingdoms polybag set in your local Target in PA? Lucky! I'd like to see some (any!) polybag sets arrive at my local Targets during a non-holiday season. Target must be fairly successful in my area since we've had 3 new ones open in the region within the last couple of years, but in terms of Legos, they only get polybag sets when there's a holiday worthy of its own section. Here's hoping for polybag sets when the Easter displays are put out.

I am in Maryland and this comment is for Yellocastle - I have seen the kingdom poly sets in the Germantown, MD Target. There were not that many but they do have some. Mainly the atlantis and the fire helicopter which has been there since Halloween. Really was looking for those to be clearanced, but no such luck.

Has any in the MD area seen the new polybags, the targets does not appear to have Easter things out yet, just Lawn furniture.

@legotwins - Did you see the Kingdoms polybags there recently? As for the NoVA Targets, Sterling and Reston were not yet set up yesterday but Leesburg had the Ninjago and AT-ST pollies in the bins.

Posted by legotwins in United States, 07 Mar 2011 15:56

@yellowcastle - They had the Kingdoms polybags in the checkout lines at the Germantown Target. I was there just yesterday.

Posted by wiredforsound in United States, 08 Mar 2011 14:24

The targets here in the Portland, OR area Toy Story Army Jeep (30071), the Fire Helicopter (4900), and the Atlantis Mini Sub (30042). I have never seen either the Kingdoms Attack Wagon (30061) or
Kingdoms Target Practice (30062) in any Target store anywhere and really want to find them. I checked at 5 metro area Target locations over the weekend and did not find either AT-ST (30054) or the Ninjago Dragon Fight (30083).

Ditto to everything 'wiredforsound' said in San Pedro, CA Target. Cheers.

No Kingdoms sets, and the Easter sections are not up yet in my two closest Targets in Hanover, NJ...Bummer... But YEA for after Easter Sale!!!

Posted by Unknown User2596 in United States, 08 Mar 2011 23:47

Anyone in the Cupertino area, has the Stevens Creek and/or Westgate Target have Easter promos in yet?

Posted by Morgan19 in United States, 09 Mar 2011 18:02

No Easter section yet at the Target by me, either. Does anyone know if there's a certain day of the week they usually set those things up, or is it random?

Posted by legotwins in United States, 09 Mar 2011 21:48

When I spoke to the targets customer service department in my area, they said that they will be putting out easter stuff next week. Typically they stock on Saturday nights so usually by Sunday they are available for the weeks sale.

Posted by MorkMan in United States, 10 Mar 2011 17:07

I echo what 'legotwins' just wrote - my Targets in Phoenix, AZ (the 4 nearest to the Chandler LEGO store) said that they wouldn't redo the seasonal section with Easter for 2 more weeks. That was 5 days ago. I hope that they do it next Saturday (3/19). The Seasonal department worker I talked to said that because Easter was so late this year (4/24), the Easter merchandise would be put out later than normal.

Posted by jteisberg in United States, 10 Mar 2011 18:33

Your Targets have everything!!! I live near the very 1st Target ever made and they never even GOT any of the Collectable minifigures... ugh!

Posted by Morgan19 in United States, 10 Mar 2011 23:06

I just came back from Target and they had a currently-empty Easter section being set up, with tags out for the LEGO polys that read "starting 3/13"... So this Sunday, it is. :)

Posted by jonboy in United States, 10 Mar 2011 23:45

I went to a Target in Tigard, OR (Portland Metro Area) and they had their Easter section set up and had 30054 AT-ST, 30083 Ninjago and 30010, Fire Chief. 30071 Toy Story, 4900 Fire Helicopter and 30042 Atlantis were at the checkout stands. Sure wish the Kingdoms polybags would show up out west!

Posted by dehnehsu in United States, 11 Mar 2011 01:45

Target in Sunnyvale, Calif. has the Ninjago Dragon Fight (30083), AT-ST (30054), and Fire Chief (30010) in the Easter section.
