    The second edition of this must-have book for every LEGO collector is published at the end of April.

    The first release was excellent, although not without a few errors. I'm sure these will have been addressed and of course the book will have been brought right up to date -- the first edition was published in 2008.

You need to change that link - it takes you to a page specific to your account. As soon as anyone follows it they can change your address rather than create their own account. I've checked this on another browser too.

Cool, but there is one thing: how could the book have more than 9000 "sets" and Brickset around 8400 "sets"? Is Brickset missing so much, or has the book things Brickset doesn't want in the database?

^^ (MERLEGO) Remember that there have been sets with the brick we know today since 1958, and even more with Automatic Binding Bricks since 1949.

@MERLego...Bricksets has the best database, but there might be a couple of missing sets. Like I can't find an exclusive Indiana Jones set from San Diego Con 2008.

The first edition was excellent, so this will certainly be worth getting I think, particularly if you missed out first time round.

Just to let people know, about an hour after placing an order, I received an order confirmation for somebody in a totally different country, and it looks like I may have been charged for it. The website/order system may be experiencing problems or be insecure/buggy. I'm awaiting their response. Hope nobody else is affected!

Yep, the 35 Euro shipping to the US is something of a dealbreaker... 63 Euros = almost $90! Hope there's a US source for it.

I remember I bought the first edition from Amazon for £19 so I'll wait (especially that it means free shipping). I love the first edition but if there are another ones I guess I'll wait for the 3rd or 4th edition ;) I don't need to have every book but it's great they're releasing a new one.

I loved the first edition. It's a great book to just thumb through. I'm surprised that new edition is coming out so soon. Hopefully the numerous errors of the first edition will be addressed. The shear number and nature of these errors is highly disturbing. I don't think I'll be pre-ordering it, I'm not really in the key chains, but I will be getting this.

Whenever I go to buy the Lego book and click confirm order (paying using PayPal), I get the error:

"Ack: Failure
Correlation ID: bf26f6f340f
Version:3.0
Error Number:10729
Error Short Message: Shipping Address State Empty
Error Long Message: The field Shipping Address State is required"

And the whole order process re-starts. However, my shipping address is correctly stated, yet I get the above error.

Anybody has a workaround? Have emailed them but in case anybody knows of a solution here.

I went through the order form, and it came out at GBP35.00 for the book and delivery to the UK. Ouch! I think I'd prefer to buy a Lego set for that money, rather than a book about them.

Does anyone know if a hardcover version will be produced? Does anyone recall if the First Edition paperback preceded the hardcover version, or were they released simultaneously?
