Good! :) That mean that series 4 probably will come to Sweden soon!

Any Information on the dots? Are they noticeable on the german Müller bags?

Series 4 is also available at Müller Markt in downtown Stuttgart (Germany). Currently they have 3 unopened boxes and an opened box left.

Hello Lizardking!
I did notice a couple of dots on one of the packs I bought. I found them a bit "hit'n'miss" with Series 3, so I have resorted to the old-fashioned method of feeling the bags for minifigure-specific parts. Takes a bit of time, but it works. I'll be back to Müller Markt tomorrow for a few more bags.

Hi there,

I bought 70 bags today at ToYSRuS, Graz (Austria) It seems that the dots are the same as in series 3 - I'm already able to distinguish the figs I'm searching ... :-))

Even in the small town I live they are available since today :) Bought 11 Figs, got 3 Soccers... :(

They're also in Canada. I picked up 12 of the 16 minifigs today.

I don't know if the dots work. I didn't have my dot sheet with me so I tried another strategy which worked well in the past. Basically, I would pick up packs based on if the dots differ from each other. There were 4 boxes out so I guess that messed up my strategy? I picked up 20 packs. Many of those packs had a different dot pattern but I still ended up with 12 originals and 8 duplicates, 4 of which were surfer girls!

I'm disappointed by the quality of the minifigs too. The hands are hard to turn and the hair/cap pieces are often difficult to attach to the head. I have not had these problems with past minifig collections.

The price has also been jacked up a bit. The figs have gone from $2.86 to $3.28. This will definietly be the last series I get.

brixton, your comment about the hands and hats strikes a chord. I was very disappointed with the quality of series 3 - the arms and legs seemed to rotate too easily for new figs, but the hands were too tight, and would not turn at all. The series 2 figs I have work just like normal figs. I was hoping this would be rectified with series 4.

@ Wolfy 8880: I totally understand what you're saying about the arms and legs moving too freely for brand new mini-figures. They feel like my old mini-figures from the early 90s that have been played with quite a bit. I am starting to understand all of the complaints about the collectible mini-figures being of inferior quality when compared to mini-figures found in regular LEGO sets. It's one of many reasons why I'm calling it quits for the collectibles after this series.

Bought another 10 bags at Müller Markt today - got 2 Footballers unfortunately. Just need the Hockey Player, Frankenstein's Monster and the Mad Professor and I've got the complete set! Roll on Series 5!

The dot patterns don't work. Do they only work in Europe (if they work at all)?

Posted by Seoulman in United States, 27 Mar 2011 22:45

I know it's not Germany, but ... Supposedly, series 4 will start to hit shelves in Asia on March 31.
If anyone has more info (ie firmer dates, release by country, etc), please do share.
