Oh, well. It doesn't effect me anyways, I won't get mine until Brickworld in June anyways. (Plus I could still buy it on the first if I wanted.)

If I had to guess (and this is just a swing), they are having issue with the Maersk Blue minifig Helmets. Since minifigs are stamped and packaged in other countries, maybe they got the Maersk color formula wrong and made medium blue instead of Maerks blue hats. Just a swing....

Well, you can't really trust anything scheduled for a release on April 1st, sounds like someone's been April fooled!

Posted by LukeSkywalker in Ireland, 23 Mar 2011 14:01

Hmm, April 15th, which happens to be the same date that the free UK shipping for orders over £25 ends...

This dosen't effect me, so I don't have much of a say besides sorry for those who were really hoping on getting it on April 1st. Depending on the price I may save up to buy it, but my birthday's April 21st so I may see a big present if it's not like $199.99 or something (of course it doesn't stand much of a chance against MLB 2K11 and/or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2) so I'll probably just save up.

@copperwonder96 - That's a good guess, I wonder if you're right...

@SampiSatan - Yeah, the release date should be April 2nd.

I feel bad for those outside of the US and CAN that cannot get it on the 1st if they wanted too...

Caught a copy of this at Brickbash last weekend. Very nice train, looking forward to it coming out. Very surprised they actually are giving 2 trains cars with it (yes I knew they were from the pictures) but still.....

sweet, i hadn't heard the date so April 1 sounds good!

Posted by dafish in United Kingdom, 24 Mar 2011 04:22

that gives me an opportunity to order it with the minifig 4 set as I usually place my orders through the online shop. Sounds boring but saves me the VAT. For the minifigs I'm lacking I go to the store in central Copenhagen to do some massaging of plastic bags and select...

On the German website it is still April 1st.

As of 24th March, the UK release date hasn't changed. It still stands as Friday 1st April...and that's 100% confirmed, not an April Fool's prank.

Does anyone know if these trains fit hobby scale HO track?

Posted by bluemoose in United Kingdom, 25 Mar 2011 18:12

@Snowhove & @EasyEddie - the release date for both Germany & UK did shift to 15th for a couple of days at the beginning of the week, but reverted back to 1st April early on Thursday.

Posted by cheapinkc in United States, 26 Mar 2011 08:09

@Vader X -
No, they don't fit HO.
