This morning's trawl of the LEGO.com instructions area revealed three new promotional sets: two Harry Potter (30110 and 30111) and a BrickMaster Star Wars set, left.

Around 30 new instructions were added: you can see the whole list here. They include the Maersk train and Farnsworth House.

(groan) Yet another Brickmaster set to cause non-U.S. collectors headaches and too much money to source. Why won't Brickmaster please just hurry up and die ?

Hey! ^

Yes! Calling all Potter fans! You know what I'm thinking? No? Well I'm thinking that that potions cabinet would be perfect in that awkwardly empty hallway room in the new Battle for Hogwarts set, especially since there wasn't a potions room in Hogwarts Castle (new set, I mean.)

Nice little promotional set (the Star Wars one); it resembles the Lego Bounty Hunter Gunship exactly! As for the Happy Potter set... ehhh...

I hope those potters aren't Brickmaster. Im trying to get ALL Potter sets. I have all 7 of them already. :)

Oooooh! With all of these (Pirates, Potter and Star Wars) promotional sets on the horizon, one hopes a weekly newspaper give-away is just around the corner. Fingers crossed. :-)

Based on the codes in the instuctions on the Harry Potter sets I think they will be sold at Borders.

Fed up with Brickmaster, it's an absolute nuisance trying to get hold of the sets from here in the UK.

I agree with cyborg33 , how are members supposed to get that?!?!

UPDATE. The Trolley set will probably be available Borders. The Lab will probably be at Target. (based on the club codes on the instructions)

Just checked out the Maersk train instructions - tons and tons of stickers - the engine's colour scheme is largely based on stickers - the white stripe going round: all stickers!. I 'm not the type to moan all the time about stickers - if its a small detail - but when the colour scheme is predicated by the correct application of stickers, and then not fudging them up over twenty or thirty years of admiring by me and pawing by my offspring, frankly it doesn't make me jump for joy. Mabye I can put this in the forum!

Awesome. Will definitely be getting the two Harry Potter sets, assuming I'll be able to find them, lol. Another printed owl would definitely be nice, and a non-uniform Harry is good to see.

I love these little polybag sets, and absolutely loathe how difficult it is to get hold of some of them. For the love of crumbcake, can't they just offer the same sets up to everyone!

Why does the Hogwarts Harry have grey legs? I thought we ere done with that terrible color scheme. I have to get both those sets, however.

Since Borders no longer exists in my area - I'm hoping that Barnes & Nobel Lego department will carry.
I'll try Target (any ideas when?). Neither set is on the Lego (TM) site.

Interesting to see the Emerald night in the Maersk train instructions, must be planning on keeping it around for awhile longer.

Woo-hoo! another Brickmaster! seems like brikmaster is not ending after all

Posted by bluemoose in United Kingdom, 05 Apr 2011 08:23

No, it is ending later this year. If you aren't already a subscriber, you can't join. You haven't been able to join since around November last year. They are fulfilling their obligation to existing subscribers.

There should be two more Brickmaster sets coming. I renewed on the final day of September last year (which was the final day to renew Brickmaster for another year).

Posted by TBOC in United States, 05 Apr 2011 19:06

Eh, I haven't had Brickmaster renewed in a while. I did like it when you got a random set, but then they got all special. I got the rare ones, at least. I even still have Original Stater kit.

Posted by Irene in United States, 11 Apr 2011 12:22

I went to Target this weekend, and they had 30010 Fire Chief in the Easter section
They also had one 30042 Atlantas, and 30054 posted, but no sets there.

I tried Borders, WallMart & the new Lego section in Barnes&Nobel... without success.

Has anyone actually seen the two Harry Potter sets (the ones I want) ?
