These offers really have no value to me, especially since the closest Lego store to me is in Philly (I will probably go there when attending a Phillies game). So first off, the lizard deal obviously has little value since it's free as long as you're planning on spending $35, but it's not like some great deal. The double VIP points one has no value because I'm not into Lego Games. It seems the only "deal" that has value (to me) is the bonus 50 points, but sadly I already own the Clone Turbo Tank and I'm not into Toy Story, so I hope all who are are happy with these.

Ugh. That Woody's round up is so lousy. I was pretty disappointed with the lack of imagination and overall design for most of the Toy Story 3 sets.

@ Jarod98 - The Lizard offer is valid on shop.LEGO.com. Offer is not valid in LEGO Stores. Distance doesn't apply and who can complain about free if someone was already going to be buying something :)

The lizard looks kinda good

This is also the story in Canada too, with one more:

Double VIP Points on Hero Factory "Fire Villians Collection"

That started on March 16th with no end date posted.

Glad I waited a little bit to get my Maersk Train. Now I get a lizard too!

The Woody's Roundup is the only one that has any remote interest to me as my daughter is at the golden age to really get into more Lego.

I don't care for the lizard and last promo of get something free, I never recieved it.

Sure, I placed an order yesterday, the 5th :/ My timing kicks in again ;)

@Higgins - Exactly, I wasn't planning on spending over $35 on Legos ;)

I think I'll wait until May before I let any promotion tempt me into buying something. Until then I'll just watch what kind of sales there are online.

I think I'll go the same route. The past two years there have been great Star Wars promotions and sales exclusively on May 4th (as in "May the Force Be With You"), so I expect there will be some kind of Star Wars deal in May in addition to the new movie being produced. I'm a big SW fan, so I was extremely excited to be able to get that poster they gave out with SW orders two years ago. :-)

These items might be great to have, but the sale on the IJ sets at TRU is great right now. Got the last 7 of the Ambush in Cairo for 6.99 each.

Free shipping is the best deal they've every offered price wise, I'd say

Anyone know where the 30141 Alien Conquest polybag comes from? Target, TRU?...etc...

Posted by Jarod98 in United Kingdom, 09 Apr 2011 12:32

@legoDad42 - I've been looking up the Alien Conquest sets and so far haven't found anything, but I'll e-mail you via Brickset if I find anything.
