I don't like Hero Factory, but even I have to say these sets look pretty cool; it reminds me a bit of the good 'ol Bionicle Rahi. Not too happy about LEGO milking the thornax launcher, though; personally, I think it's time for a new launcher. But, again, I don't like HF in the first place, so my opinion probably doesn't mean much:)

It's funny that the villians of HF are the only sets that capture my interest. Until now, I've only bothered to buy Meltdown, but now, I'm rather intrigued by the gorilla-like villain.

Rocka XL does looks good (ok, his helmet is a bit weird but the concept is cool). But I don't like those pieces. They are just a step down from the 2006 building system, which was already over-used. Well, at least they are better than the last year's HF. From now on, it seems Lego will repeat those pieces and the only differential between a line and another will be a bunch of new armor/blade pieces, what isn't necessarily good.

My son really loves these Im curious to see if the 3.0 guys will be able to build 3 in 1 like some of the 2.0 can build 2 in 1 or if its just an arbitrary labeling. Does anyone know if they will release another movie with these new characters in it?

I didn't believe it was even possible based on what's happened in the line thus far, but here we go - HF sets which may actually be /decent/. Wow. Obviously as box art they're meant to look good and so may be carefully angled to hide flaws or something (which is a nice change from the way things were going with BIONICLE/HF box art for a while *coughGreshcough*), so I'll reserve proper judgement until release and people get photos of the actual sets; regardless, based on what I see here, I'm so glad LEGO seems to have finally stopped fumbling the ball with this line. The builds look solid and aesthetically "correct", and the colour schemes look thought-out and not really eyesearing. Keep thus up, HF design team, and preferably give the hero sets a little lesson in this area. Please? The names are still terrible, and the sheer inhumanity of the designs still carries the same xenophobic overtone as through the line thus far, an overtone I still love to mock in various works, but eh, HF thus far has kinda desensitised me to that. :P

(waitasec, why does the one called "Fangz" lack fangs...? :P)

Neat, these look interesting. I might get into to hero factory. I bought a few bioncle and technic, but have always preferred basic bricks as opposed to technic elements. Let me just check that little box that reads "I want this set".

Personally, I think that 3.0 does not look very good. Most of the heroes look weird, and so does Which Doctor. The med size villains are...Okay. And scorpio looks really weird too. However, Rocka XL is a masterpiece! He's huge, gold, looks menacing, and has two trans-green hero badges. I love Hero Factory! But most of 3.0 is weird. Of course I won't stay completely out of 3.0. As I mentioned above, Rocka XL is great, and Bulk 3.0 looks interesting. But still.

in my opinion, the new HF line is OK, but needs some fixes. Fangz shoulda had some actual fangs, and Raw-Jaw...is a cross-breed between a gorilla and an elephant? that's kinda messed up, but at least TLG made it look cool. Waspix isn't that good looking. too much black showing up here and there. the heroes are just plain terrible. i mean, Furno 3.0 only has a max of 28 pieces. that's kinda low compared to Stormer 3.0's 31 pieces. and TLG! Y U NO TELL US IF ROCKA 3.0 IS GUD OR NOT?!

J. B. I have collected Bionicle since 2005 :( I was sad when I found out what was replacing it...)
CrazyAwsomeyeah ME AGREES...And I pretty sure he's a good guy but...
I guss these look OK...I wish Surge was in this because I actually LIKE him... :\ \

@MisterGeolix814 yea, i agree with u. but in my opinion, the heroes are a little too drab. i mean, they have really nice colors and all, but i think Furno 3.0 should have had more parts to him, rather than the four pieces that make up his "wings" it shoulda had a more sexy bird look to him. that's just what i think...
