It's all kicking off this weekend as far as PotC is concerned: Brickset member whung has uncovered yet another PotC promo set, left, and if you're in the USA you can buy the sets at Toys R Us already.

The PotC microsite at LEGO.com has been updated with lots of cool content, and shop.LEGO.com will be selling the sets from Monday in the USA and Canada. More news on that then...

UPDATE: Pirates of the Caribbean LEGO sets are now showing up at Target stores nationwide. Selection will, as always, vary by region. - Brickapolis

Where's the Black Pearl on Lego's website? Even if it's not out they should at least have a page for it. At least the Toys R Us prices seem reasonable, but just wait till PotC is out in other stores, then they'll jack 'em up. To bad they don't have Queen Anne's Revenge, but they do have a deal going on where you get a free Captain Jack Minifig with the purchase of Lego PotC: The Video Game. My birthday is coming up this week, so hopefully I'll have a few by next weekend.

That actually looks like a pretty good promo set. Might have to get it.

Posted by darthgiggitygoo in Australia, 16 Apr 2011 09:14

awesome! I would get that

Awesome, a Jack Sparrow figure (hat version) with a bottle, and maybe even a scabbard. I would love it if this became a Daily Mirror giveaway! :)

Wow! I can remember when I whatched the first movie and saw the part with Jack's little fishing boat sinking into port. But I truly think that LEGO could have done a little better with it like they did in the trailer for the video game. I wish LEGO would make all of their ships like that.

Oh wow im going to the lego store today....two days away from when the pirates of the caribean sets come out. Good thing i like ninjago better :).

Posted by the_real_indy in United States, 16 Apr 2011 10:22

Yes, when I pre-ordered the LEGO POTC Video Game at the GameStop store yesterday, they told me I would get a "free bonus Jack Sparrow minifigure" for doing the pre-order. They did not know which one exactly. Hopefully this one, rather than the wooden-faced voodoo-doll minifigure, although both are cool... Does anyone know?

Posted by max villano in Greece, 16 Apr 2011 10:36

l want this one!!!

Posted by collectormom in United States, 16 Apr 2011 10:44

@the_real_indy: if you go on the Gamestop website you can see the figure, it shows the wooden face figure

Posted by spency13 in United States, 16 Apr 2011 10:52

EEEE! I cannot WAIT for Monday!!! ;) I want that promo set, too!!!

Posted by Juno in United States, 16 Apr 2011 11:09

Wow! This is awesome. I've been waiting forever for the PotC to come out!

Posted by vith in Belgium, 16 Apr 2011 11:10

Went to the Bart Smit (toyshop chain in Belgium and the Netherlands) and I didn't see any POTC sets. :(
Can't buy them anyway, don't have any money left. :P

Posted by legowerba in United States, 16 Apr 2011 11:16

My TRU has all of the sets including the Queen Anne's Revenge at $119.00 which I had to buy. On the other sets all of the prices are at Lego suggested prices (for now). I almost have it built, great pieces, and outstanding let me say that again OUTSTANDING minifigs. These figs rival any Star Wars figs out there. I can't wait until I have them all.

Posted by AETerry in United States, 16 Apr 2011 11:50

I want one!

Posted by starfire2 in United States, 16 Apr 2011 12:18

My local TRU had all but the Fountain of Youth set. The manager offered to order it online and to ship it to our home free. As tempting as it was, I am going to wait until I get my reward r us bucks and use it in that.

Posted by C-Fish in United States, 16 Apr 2011 12:45

Wow, Jack had better be careful or he's going to capsize his "boat". :D

Looks cool. I'm too far from stores to get any promos, though, so I won't be getting it.

Posted by vith in Belgium, 16 Apr 2011 13:11

Bah, why won't Amazon.co.uk sell them already?

I'm liking the look of these sets. The remainder of 2011 is going to be expensive - PotC, some neat Cars sets, Alien Conquest, Summer Star Wars sets, UCS Star Destroyer, new modular building etc. etc.......

Posted by the_real_indy in United States, 16 Apr 2011 13:28

@collectormom,

Thanks for the info!

Since I'll have several Jack minifigs in the end, I was planning to sell it anyway, so it's better if it's a unique polybag fig.

Posted by aquafreak125 in United Kingdom, 16 Apr 2011 13:37

I'm going to Legoland Windsor tomorrow, hoping to find the new sets early (though I doubt it)
I've also read the guide to the new movie, the sets are spot on judging from what I've read..

Posted by Ravenxl7 in United States, 16 Apr 2011 13:48

If I see this set at retail I'll definitely be getting it. Can't pass-up on a cheap way to get a Jack figure that comes with his hat.

Posted by zaxter2001 in United States, 16 Apr 2011 14:45

I went to the TRU in Design Moines, IA last night and was able to pick up every PotC set that is supposed to be out except the fountain of youth. Which means I was able to get Queen Anne's Revenge! I'm so excited to put these together as these are my first themed sets that I've bought since getting back into LEGO.

Do you think we are going to get any PotC promo set in the UK? We don't get many good promo set compare with the United States , Why is that? Does any one know which minifigure will be in The Black Pearl set.

Posted by Morgan19 in United States, 16 Apr 2011 16:21

No PotC sets at either TRU near me, yet...

Posted by K-nut in United States, 16 Apr 2011 16:58

I went looking for this at my TRU and found 4182, 4183, 4193, and 4194 on the shelves! I had to pick up 4193 and must say it's awesome. the minifigs are great and the soldiers hats have a nice, white brim around them. Jack Sparrow is one of the best minifigs TLG has made!

Posted by nadnerb112 in United States, 16 Apr 2011 17:57

Just bought Isla De Maurta from target. Pretty awesome!

Posted by timhook22 in United States, 16 Apr 2011 18:47

Where is the 30131 promo set available?

Posted by Jarod98 in United Kingdom, 16 Apr 2011 19:45

@timhook22 - I'm not exactly sure, but I'm thinking Target. The '30130-1: Mini Black Pearl' will probably be available at Wal*Mart and the '30132-1: {Captain Jack Sparrow}' is available free at TRU if you buy 'Lego Pirates of the Carribean: The Video Game' and is $2.99 if you just want to buy it. Although, promo sets usually come out a few weeks after the main sets, so don't count on them (except the '30132-1: {Captain Jack Sparrow}' set) being out just yet.

Posted by Divinity3d in United States, 16 Apr 2011 20:23

WOW Even the smallest set has the instructions with Cardboard!!! WOOT Win for the Lego community!

Posted by starfire2 in United States, 16 Apr 2011 20:32

I thought TRU was the only ones to have the new POTC sets? Where are people at that they are finding them at Target and Walmart? I am in AZ and have only seen them at TRU.

Posted by vpustote in United States, 16 Apr 2011 20:32

I found all of them at my local TRU, even the Queen Anne.

Posted by The Reviewer in United States, 16 Apr 2011 23:21

I never have been into POtC.So I am not quite ecstatic, but I might get a few.(but, the promo with the boat looks cool)

Posted by The Brick Show in United States, 16 Apr 2011 23:32

I found all of them at my local TRU. We have all of them and we've posted our review today of the the first, Cannibal Escape. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXLRj-bdwF0

Posted by Unknown User2596 in United States, 17 Apr 2011 00:11

And then TRU has BOGO 50% next week and POTC sets count, this is good timing :)

Posted by Avocado in United States, 17 Apr 2011 00:15

Yup, they're all listed as BOGO 50% on the TRU website.

Posted by K-nut in United States, 17 Apr 2011 07:28

I forgot to post this before, but London Escape doesn't have sealed instructions!

Posted by TheKingOfBuilding in United Kingdom, 17 Apr 2011 07:48

@aquafreak125: How interesting: I'm going to a Legoland tomorrow but only difference is that I'm going to the Billund (Denmark) Legoland!

Does anyone think the PotC sets will be available in the Danish Legoland? If they're out in USA and Canada, they should be able to buy this soon in the "home" of Lego...

Posted by SapmiSatan in Norway, 17 Apr 2011 08:32

I believe this promo is the first "At World's End" set we're getting, it's too small to be Jack's boat from the opening of "The Curse of the Black Pearl", so I think it's the small boat Jack sailed away in the end of "At World's End".

I don't know if the sets are out in Norway yet, but it doesn't really matter to me, as I'll have to wait until the summer to get them, I'll save thousands of Norwegian kroner by doing all my LEGO shopping abroad... Does anyone know a good place to buy LEGO in Northern Germany?

Posted by aquafreak125 in United Kingdom, 17 Apr 2011 15:49

Just came back, no POTC sets, they told me to wait until May. @TheKingOfBuilding, what a pleasant coincidence, hope you have more luck in finding the sets :)

Posted by clowndiscus in United States, 18 Apr 2011 15:04

just got back from the lego store. they have a limit of one of each set, so no duplicate buying
