Lego Store Calendar June 2011

  • Lego Store Calendar June 2011

Brickset member LegoDad42 has posted scans of the new LEGO Store Calendar for June on Flickr.  Please note that this month's calendar is oversized so there are four links.  The main June promotion is for a free "Build A Minifigure" (BAM) container with a $99 purchase.  Also, the calendar now has a QR image which you can scan with your smart phone for a direct link to stores.LEGO.com in order "to stay up to date on the latest LEGO Store news and events!"  :o)

How do you get a copy of this? I would like to print off the coupons and use them maybe. Thanks

Posted by legoDad42 in United States, 05 May 2011 09:32

Sorry for the multiple scans. I have a large scanner but it was stalling on me (time to buy a new one I guess), so I just scanned it in parts.

Wow, I really wish I could give Lego ANOTHER $99 because I'd first off get another $5 added onto my VIP account and I'd also get 3 free minifigs. Sadly, I just bought the remaining 2011 Lego Star Wars sets I don't have (besides the Bounty Hunter Gunship, which I don't plan to get until Christmas). I'd like to see the Minifig Speed Building event, but sadly the closest Lego store to me is 1 hour away. The Kids Fest also sounds fun, sadly I live 4 hours away from Pittsburgh so this month really doesn't seem to work out for me. ;)

@vpustote - I think all you have to do is go into a Lego Store and they'll give one to you.

@Jarod98 thanks. I was worried I would have to print these and then they would look at me funny, like I counterfeited coupons or something. haha

Posted by Jarod98 in United Kingdom, 05 May 2011 10:16

@vpustote - You're welcome. I don't know if they'd really care because they're giving these deals out to anyone who wants them so you'd probably be good.

@legoDad42 - The scans are great, thanks! My local store got the new calendars in yesterday but I wasn't able to swing by after work. Lo and behold, I check Flickr and find that you've already done all the hard work for us!

@legoDad42 - Maybe next month's mini build will be manbearpig? ;o)

Isn't that a knew cars set we haven't seen: escape at sea? correct me if i'm wrong :/

Well nothing super special but more new sets will be hitting the shelves... I thought they were due in May?! Something funny to see is that they're doing a NinjaGo Tour! LOL! Seems really silly, but Nerf has done stuff like that for years. Maybe the theme will last longer than a second batch... it does get high sales and SOME of the sets are worth getting.

Man, no Deathly Hallows sets... Let's hope for July!

You beat me to scanning the calendar when I went by my store yesterday. The LEGO Store in Tigard, OR now has Alien Conquest, Knights Kingdom & Pirates of the Caribbean, but not Cars 2 or the new modular building. The Build a Mini coupon is not good until June as I tried to use mine yesterday.

THEY'RE OPENING A NEW LEGO STORE IN FASHION VALLEY SAN DIEGO!!!!!!!

Posted by starfire2 in United States, 05 May 2011 16:35

@yys4u: that is awesome!!! I used to live in San Diego near that mall in Linda Vista!!!!

Posted by Jarod98 in United Kingdom, 05 May 2011 16:43

Yeah, another Lego store in California, we need one in Central Pennsylvania... Harrisburg will do!

Posted by Nate the Great of LEGO in United States, 05 May 2011 17:33

I Agree. Give PA another, please Lego!

Posted by toplessjeep in United States, 05 May 2011 17:34

Not Harrisburg, we need one in Allentown.

June looks like a good month to make my annual trip to the Lego Store. I'll get the Maersk Train and pick up a free BAM pack.

Posted by IlovePowerMiners in United Kingdom, 05 May 2011 19:46

I can actually use this at Brickworld in June! And you PA complainers; we've got one in MI. ONE. And it's 4 hours away! :C

Posted by Jarod98 in United Kingdom, 05 May 2011 19:54

@IlovePowerMiners - PA only has one as well, although I'm lucky as I live only 1 1/2 hours from it, but people in Pittsburgh live 6 hours or so away from it. So PA and Michigan both need a Lego Store.

Posted by TBOC in United States, 05 May 2011 20:28

No! Missouri needs one, We don't even have 1 in the whole state. I refuse to drive all the way to Chicago just for that!

Posted by doodlebird in United States, 05 May 2011 20:43

@TBOC... if you're near KC, MO, you've got to check out US Toys... my inlaws live there, and they run 20% off coupons near the holidays, and sometimes will stack another 20% for a day for their email list subscribers. they also sometimes have slightly older HTF sets.

Posted by Jarod98 in United Kingdom, 05 May 2011 20:59

So we've got Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Missouri on the list, who's next? Um... I think we're getting a little off topic :P

Posted by vpustote in United States, 05 May 2011 20:59

@Jarod98 Michigan does have a Lego store, it's in Troy, MI

@ILovePowerMiners I feel the same way you do, I'm about 3.5 hours away from that Lego store. I'm probably closer to Chicago. So your going to Brickworld too? I'm going to Lego Discovery Center for my bday on June 15th, and now I am thinking about going to Brickworld too.

All the NY lego stores are in NYC, which is like 500 miles from western new york. We need lego store Buffalo!

Posted by yellowcastle in United States, 06 May 2011 01:35

Very cool news about Fashion Valley. Many a great set did I purchase at Gepetto's upstairs.

Posted by bmwlego in United States, 06 May 2011 06:16

^^Zack - What about the Lego Store in West Nyack at the Palisades Mall?
Kudos to ILUGNY member Legodad42 for posting the June calendar!
