There's been a slew of new LEGO Harry Potter books released this week, the best of which is this Building the Magical World book which includes an exclusive Harry Potter minfig.

There is also not one but three sticker books, which are like the Star Wars and minifigure ones that were released last year. I received mine last week and two of them appear to be a subset of the third, the 'Ultimate sticker collection'.

My Building the Magical World is currently in the post so I'll write a review as soon as I have it.

I've had mine for 2 weeks and it's quite wonderful. I pre-ordered it for $12 and some change. Great value. When might we see the new HP minifig added to the database?

I too saw this book , not the sticker one, weeks ago. The book with the mini fig showing all the Lego sets, is MUCH better than the it's StarWars equevent book. Most specifically it has a section showing all the various Harry Pottter figs side by side which the Star Wars lacked

Yeah, I saw it in ToysRus, and they wanted $24.99 for it. I of course passed. But seeing how much it was today, I decided to buy it on Amazon.

Anyone in here students in college? Amazon has a thing called Prime (free two-day shipping offered by some sellers). Prime costs like $70-80 bucks a year. But if you are a student, you can get it free for one year.

I saw this at Costco for 11.99.But I did not buy it cause I HATE Harry Potter(I Hate HP because it promotes witch-craft)

I might get this is I see it in the store and am able to look at it. But I don't think the figure is too spectacular.

@TheReviewer Hate is a powerful word, especially directed to a fantasy series... Harry potter doesn't promote witchcraft, it really doesn't have anything in common with it., except the terminology.

I reckon I might just pick this up for the minifig, not a huge fan of the HP series but reading about any set is time well spent!

Looking forward to the review. I have not seen it at Costco, but if it is there, and if it is cheaper than Amazon, I will get it there for sure!!

Science Fiction Book Club had a sale over Memorial Day weekend. Two books for $25, three books for $35, and four books for $45. I ordered four books, one of which was the LEGO Harry Potter title. Somehow it came to $10. I don't know why it was cheaper than advertised, and frankly, I don't care! :)

Yay! I loved the Star Wars book, so this one will be even better!

The Reviewer: I don't believe Harry Potter promotes witchcraft, it's just a story about wizards and witches.
