That's a pretty sweet little set!

Aw, what? I hope they sell this somewhere else. I don't want to buy Diagon Alley just for this. Don't get me wrong, I like Diagon Alley, but I don't have $150 laying around.

I like how they used the parts in the front, but not the rest. Kind of dumb.

Posted by BooMakuta! in United States, 02 Aug 2011 21:10

That is adorable! No tender car or coaches though...: (

Posted by Legomania02 in United States, 02 Aug 2011 21:16

I want it so bad!!!!:D

Posted by shannonshanks in United States, 02 Aug 2011 22:10

But I already bought Diagon Alley:(

Posted by K-nut in United States, 02 Aug 2011 22:27

Kind of an ugly little design, but who complains about free lego? But those wheels!

Posted by Zordboy in Australia, 03 Aug 2011 06:08

Good, but would've been great with a tender. And some coaches would've made it magnificent.

Posted by Huw in United Kingdom, 03 Aug 2011 08:43

It looks awful. I won't be buying another DA just for that!

Posted by K-nut in United States, 03 Aug 2011 09:26

The thing that puts me off about it is that rear cabin. (I think that's what it's called) It would probably be fine without that horrible SNOT.

Posted by Zacherano in United States, 03 Aug 2011 09:47

Same, I already bought Diagon Alley! I wonder if they'll give it to people who bought Diagon Alley when it came out or much earlier if you ask them by phone. Anyway, for a set that's pretty much chronically on the U.S. bestseller list, I don't see why they need all these promotions. Double VIP points, extra points, free sets, etc., etc.

Posted by jarom_moroni in United States, 03 Aug 2011 11:45

@Zacherano Promotions are probably what has kept it on the bestseller list...

Posted by TooMuchLEGO in United States, 03 Aug 2011 12:32

Cute! But I lack in money. I'll buy it in 60 years, when I discover that old LEGO bin in my mansion and decide that I need more, then I'll buy DA on ebay for 1000.

Posted by Zacherano in United States, 03 Aug 2011 12:54

@jarom_moroni - That's only one way of looking at it. There was very high anticipation for this set, the first Harry Potter Lego exclusive, and it sold out at first within just a couple of days of being released. I don't understand Lego's promotions for this particular model. I think they're wasting money that they would be receiving for this set anyway. I'm a big fan of this set, and I have noticed what's going on, so don't take me wrong here.

@Legolas1

Erm... I don't think brown studs are cute... Now blue studs. Those are cute. :P

Posted by legomaniac in United States, 03 Aug 2011 13:51

Looks like it has race car rims :) Super fast train lol, kinda ugly, but good parts

Posted by Isabella and Lego Liker in United States, 03 Aug 2011 18:05

They seem to be the same rims from the Cars sets.

Posted by TBOC in United States, 03 Aug 2011 19:51

I don;t care if it's "cute" or ugly, I want it, but I am not buying Diagon Alley for this, I just don't have the cash.

Posted by TooMuchLEGO in United States, 04 Aug 2011 09:41

@LEGOLas1: Ha ha, I know, I was kidding.

Posted by Irene in United States, 04 Aug 2011 12:29

I've already got Diagon Alley, and I don't rpopose to purchase a secnd set. but I do want it, like I want the two bublepack 30011 sets.

Posted by nexus15 in United States, 04 Aug 2011 13:38

This deal is also good at all lego brand stores.

Posted by finger2314 in United Kingdom, 04 Aug 2011 14:28

I actually bought diagon alley TWO DAYS AGO... how? HOW AM I THIS UNLUCKY :(

Posted by harrypotter2010 in United States, 04 Aug 2011 18:40

I called Lego since I gotten my set in January, they said they would not send me one cause I got the Ninjago keychain promotion, they can have the keychain back & give me the train instead.

Posted by mission_zed in United Kingdom, 05 Aug 2011 05:06

@finger2314: Do you stil have the receipt ? If so, you can:
1: Take you receipt down to a Lego store, and ask if they will honour the promotion.
2: If they say no, buy a second Diagon Alley and get the free model.
3: Remove the second receipt from the bag, replace it with the first one and say: Hello, I'd like to return this Diagon Alley I bought two days ago, please.
